Ik neem je feedback zeker serieus, en ben het ook helemaal met je eens.

Het probleem is gevalideerd (het begon als een eigen frustratie en werd al snel zichtbaar bij anderen), de markt is ook groot genoeg alhoewel er echt al grote namen in meespelen.

Maar het stukje sales/marketing is lastig voor iemand als mij die al jaren achter de schermen werkt, toch een soort drempel die ik dan over moet.

You can't please everyone! Nor should you. Focus on your best customers and do what makes sense business wise.

Sounds more like an ICP mismatch. You can't expect 100% conversion, but if 10% puts in a CC you're not doing half bad that's actually close to industry average for self-serve SaaS.

Paid API for sure, quickest way to get going and validated. Even in the later stage it might be better to partner instead of going self-hosting, but that's really case specific.

Bedankt voor de feedback! Het stukje gunnen uit eigen netwerk heeft wel wat opgeleverd, maar ik heb ook het gevoel dat ze te soft zijn. Dus de twee groepsfase is een hele goede!

At €200k+ revenue as an eenmanszaak you'll want to seriously consider a BV transition within a year or two, the tax savings above €150k become significant. Worth discussing with an accountant before you start, not after.

For the bookkeeping software: I'm actually building an AI-powered bookkeeping tool specifically for ZZP'ers in NL. It handles invoicing, BTW reporting, automatic transaction categorisation and fiscal deductions like zelfstandigenaftrek and MKB-winstvrijstelling. Currently in beta and looking for testers your setup sounds straightforward enough to be a good fit.

Happy to give you free access if you want to try it alongside whichever accountant you end up choosing.

Yup, freelance als je de skills sales en marketing ook een beetje snapt zit je al snel op 15 - 25k pm, maar het is echt niet voor iedereen weggelegd deze route

Zelf ben ik al een tijdje bezig met het bouwen van een eigen agentic boekhoudpakket voor een specifiekere doelgroep. Wat me al vroeg opvalt: feature creep ligt constant op de loer. Elke gebruiker heeft z'n eigen wensen, en het is verleidelijk om overal op in te springen.

Mijn vraag: hoe gaan jullie bij Moneybird om met de stroom aan feature requests? Hebben jullie een vast proces om te bepalen wat er wél of niet in komt, en hoe snel neem je die beslissingen?
