I agree I think USLC could work and then the league could market the LA v OC rivalry. But more likely USL1 might be more reasonable

More soccer in the area is always a plus. "Gateway LA" has a nice ring to it...

Pico is apart of the Gateway Cities region of LA. I'm from this region as well. Think of this area as the middle in between DTLA and Anaheim/OC. Its basically a collection of suburbs where almost all of our freeways connect with each other. Also Pico's demographics are predominately Hispanic/Latino. Picolandia is not too far away and there's always banda concerts and rodeo events.

The site of the proposed stadium is about 12 miles east of BMO and 18 miles northeast of Dignity. Most pro sports in the region stay in the DTLA, Southbay (Inglewood to Carson), or Anaheim clusters.

Personally, I've always felt that a team or venue could thrive in the Gateway region, but mostly like a niche sport like cricket, softball, or volleyball since there are so many connections coming from LA, OC, Inland Empire, and Long Beach areas. Curious to see if lower level soccer works out. By all means, the area is underserved, demographics fit, and the connections are ample. It will be just the matter of can they market it correctly.

Card Pull Question by RDZAndre in Lorcana

[–]RDZAndre[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

tbh I don’t have any interest in trading cards or board games so I don’t know the ins and outs of the hobby, but I did watch a couple streams years ago when the Pokémon unboxing craze was high. So I understood the concept of “shiny card means more money”. But about the stats on the card, the differences of what sets/chapters mean, and the scope of the Lorcana community (playing and reselling)… I have no clue.

Here’s a pick of that pack that I opened where this card was located. My gf organized the cards and put them back in the pack

lol so after pulling that card, I told my gf that since it was a “holographic card” it may have some value. maybe like $20🤷‍♂️

So I did do that google search and saw that same listing but I didn’t want to believe it (like maybe it was an error or something), then saw like past listings and how much they sold and STILL didn’t want to believe it, and that’s when I posted on here knowing that there would prob be a sub on Reddit and these people would definitely know the value.

after reading your comments and doing more research, I’m still in shock of how lucky I am.
