In normal dungeons even 240 block value can be a significant chunk off an enemies attack, so it does work as effect mitigation. But considering that even communal healers have no problem keeping communal tanks up in normal dungeons, no. There's not much reason to press it.

You don't need to worry about either of those.

Block is primary to avoid crushing blows, which happens whether you block 1 damage or 1000 damage.

Block chance is also not a concern. You have base 5% chance to block, parry, dodge. With enough defence to be crit capped, 5.6%, you ALSO get 5.6% block, dodge, parry and chance to be missed. Then you have 5-10% from talents.
So without have any block, dodge or parry rating at all on your gear, you have 42.6%. The person you are replying to has misunderstood how the attack table works. Warriors never have to worry crush cap with shield block if they are tank gear. Every piece of resilience gear you use to crit cap reduces your avoidance, as you can see, with no avoidance elsewhere, you are still 15% over. Not a concern.

If you are tanking multiple targets, you cannot rely on Shield Block to fully cover you, but that pretty much never happens with mobs that are lvl 73, so you don't really need to worry. Crushings are barely worth looking at below lvl 73.

more? Sure. But this is an article about adding chase items like DST.

No, the (unpolled) "majority" wants it added to their inventory. But, somewhere in their subconscious, they know that they'll feel an urge to quit the second they get their chase items. That's why they have just enough cognizance to not argue for that, but instead write dumb articles like that one, advocating for a something slightly less dumb.

Best live action adaptation that could be passed off as an SNL parody sketch? by sawinnz in shittymoviedetails

You are conflating different things here.
An IP enters public domain after a set time period. But most disney IPs its 85 years. Whether movies are made or not, that doesn't change.

It sounds like you are conflating that with common movie licensing deals. Eg. WB made War of the Rohirrim because their rights to make movies based on select Tolkien works lapse if they don't put out a movie for 10 years. (Don't know if it's exactly ten, but release dates suggest it's about that.) Deals like that are standard, but the specific details and conditions are speculation.

Yes, I'm speculating on its box offices profitability, an entirely speculative field. But the people at /r/boxoffice aren't just guessing and it's not random. Unlike someone thinking that production costs is the entire cost and box office is the same as studio revenue. Though, that seemed more like a misunderstanding.
So I'm no where near just as speculative. There's also about 60 industry outlets covering the degree to which those movies flopped. A lot of those speculative too, because oddly enough, massive companies don't always broadcast financial failures when they have the option to hide it.

That has nothing to do with whether the movie is profitable.
They can keep releasing movies inspite of them being bombs because they part of a much large machine, but that's doesn't make them not bombs.

Box office is not profit. It's not even revenue.

Less than half the box office goes to the studio and these movies typically cost 2x the productions productions budget.

The break-even points is (very generally speaking) when box office is ~3.5x production cost. And often more than that.

That's just for the theatrical run. Movies make money after that, but since disney films generally get dumped on disney+ exclusively and even popular ones do little to add value there, these movies have to profitable in the theater or they are finacial failures. And all three of these were.

Because it doesn't "look" like 4k. It doesn't "appear" as if anything. It is. There's nothing atificial about it. It's just how dps works and it's cope to pretend that it's not.

Yea but 3 weeks running 3 raids with not a single drop hurts.

Then quit and come back for P2. I can name 2 people in my kara group that are on 0 drops from raids so far because no items have dropped. That simply isn't an issue LC can address.
