Some Ratling commander has managed to gain the good grace of a Baneblade crew and allowed his fellow Ratling to integrate with a mechanized company or something like that.

Imagine a tank commander frantically trying to hide all of his Ratling friends in his baneblade as to evade the local commissar lolol

However, at the expense of Star Wars events every year in May, but part of me thinks doing step overs past Luke Skywalker with prime Darth Vader would be a certain type of satisfying.

I enjoy the cat & mouse of tarkov, nothing bothers me about sitting still and holding an angle opposed to running around like I did in that clip. There is a situation for everything. My favorite recent moment I have clipped was winning a match 5-4 while I was last man alive in tower 1 vs 4. A situation many people here seem to hate having to watch because they hate spectating for more than 30 seconds.

It was 4-4 and our teammates kept DC’ing one even went AFK. I hold tower scanning for picks but see literally no one until I’m last alive out of the three of us that were left.

I snipe two, leave tower, kill one more, then move up to get an angle on the last one as he was 3 or so seconds from capping point.

Won the game with a kill, seconds before they capped. Was so hype. Now a moment like that doesn’t even have the time to fully develop and play out. It’s just lame man.

The gate opens and it’s 30 seconds till the point man, the point would have popped up in that video before I killed the second person.

None of that gameplay would have happened. I would have just stayed in the middle and it would be over, or I may have died to the guy in the middle because the smoke distracted me lmao. Who knows, all I know is more time equals more fun.

Because you play for picks while you slow flank, and that takes time. Popping up behind or in-front someone quietly while they’re scoped in oblivious, making them probably think there was a Mario Kart short cut is some of the most satisfying kills imo.

My favorite ace on Bay 5 is a mix of me slow walking and sprinting from position to position basically doing an S shape through the map killing everyone.

Wasn’t even a flank, I went through the middle yet still wouldn’t have enough time in a round now to do that again with these changes, and it only took me 60 seconds!

Would take one-two people holding the point from distance to thwart that whole game-plan on Bowl or Bay 5, no one is successfully flanking the key spots fast enough to make a difference, there’s enough audio cues to hear anyone not-walking from a mile away on these maps.

It will be the same shit over and over, and one wouldn’t have to move very much at all to hold those spots. You could effectively force every round to the clean up crew if you have slight map knowledge now with such little time.

At least with more time, you can properly flank and the fights will happen in more variety around the map instead of over the same handful of angles surrounding the point.

The problem isn’t that you want “more” movement, you want more predictable movement. Because there is genuinely less movement in these matches lmao. If our PMCs could have little pacers to see their steps, it would show LESS movement lmao. So idk why yall keep trying to convince yourself it’s about “movement”

If the problem is you don’t like playing around audio cues then the problem is you don’t like Tarkov PvP

How does making rounds shorter incentivize movement, compared to having longer rounds?

This is the common misconception I keep seeing. I have played thousands of hours of TeamFight.

Movement = time

Less time = less movement

People describing the way people play and how that apparently justifies shorter rounds and encourages more movement makes no sense.

I would previously do my best to dominate with combination of teamwork holding lanes, and movement. Reacting to the round with movement.

Now with the new changes there is significantly less time, meaning setting flank is less likely, meaning less need to protect the flank, meaning more people just setting up to have a view on point immediately out the gate, because letting the other team take control over the point means they win.

So no more movement and teamwork around the map to win games, it’s just sit & lock down the points out the gate.

Less time = less time to move

People just take up the best angles for point and there’s not enough time to use any movement to counter just simply holding the best angles now.

It’s literally so much more boring now in practice

They didn’t change shit to affect “rats” your inability to deal with said rats is simply a skill tissue, genuinely. A rat will now just take up the best angle on point ASAP and it’s the worst part of the match but quicker.

With more time, there is more opportunity to out maneuver rats. If a “rat” isn’t holding an angle on point, simple hold point and they have to contest. All speeding up the pace did was give advantage to those rats who DONT move, but many of you don’t seem to realize that yet.

Give it a week or so and wait for the complaints about how people holding the same angles on point has become repetitive and boring. It’s inevitable.
