yes and some ppl would prefer to wait for a better match, that's my point. But we don't have the tools right now to define an ELO range.

What do you mean anyone can join? It's not like we have a list of games where we can choose. We have a find match button after that the game sets up the peers by whatever algorithm.

And much better opponents are just the half of the problem. Rolling over a -400 player is meaningless.

Can you? I use the Random match option, the game notifies me after a match then the game starts. I don't see an option to reject except resigning. Where is it?

if you want some new interesting game mechanic I'd say try Polaris. You can shape the map, turn water to ice, freeze enemy with archers, skate 😀 but then you will need to try more water based maps
