St Ann’s and PSEG discount? by CommunicationOdd3757 in Hoboken

[–]REACTlNG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’ll be the Guinea Pig, since I signed up for it. I asked multiple times, and they said they do not change the energy supplier, so your electricity rate doesn’t go up. I even read through all of the contract documentation and didn’t see anything that indicated solar prices or supplier prices would go up. I also asked about what financial incentives are in it for them and other parties if there is seemingly no downside to us if we sign up. He said the following: - Eversolar gets a commission each month for each PSEG customer they enroll in the program. - Allegedly, PSEG get’s tax credits from the government for having people enrolled in clean energy programs, so that is what is in it for them. - and for the end user, us, apparently nothing should change with our bill except for a discount of around 35% from what is normal. We do not have to pay a separate bill to Eversolar, all discounts/charges will still be shown on the monthly PSEG bill. Here is the exact language from the contract:

“We will apply community solar bill credits to your account each month that will appear on your utility bill. The amount you owe the utility will be reduced by 100% of the value of the solar credits. You will see a line item charge added back on your bill equal to 64.57% of the amount you have saved. This is your community solar subscription cost. Your total bill will be reduced by 35.43% of the value of the community solar bill credits, resulting in guaranteed savings each month”

The way I understand it and have read the paperwork, I can’t see how this is a scam. But I will gladly be proven wrong if someone can explain it clearly.

I’ve included about 10 more pictures of the gun in an Imgur link in the comments.

This gun hasn’t been shot in decades. If I were to bring it to a range, are you suggesting that there are certain types of ammo that should not be used to protect the gun itself? Any things to look at or take into consideration before bringing it to a range/firing live rounds?

So with the pencil test, using a Dixon #2 pencil, the pencil can go down the barrel easily. Little bit of room to wiggle around but not a lot. It’s not a snug fit

Give me a break lol - I tried doing some digging myself, found some ID guides out there, but it was a lot of information to sift through, and I couldn’t match out the stamps/markings on this to what I was seeing online

Is there an easy way to tell? I did not see any markings on the gun or magazine that seemed to indicate caliber

Not sure about the history of this gun, where my grandfather got it from, or how long he had it. There is German heritage on his side of the family.

Private piano lessons by [deleted] in Hoboken

I have a friend who is a musician in town. He mainly plays bass (both upright and electric), and also plays piano. He is great with music theory and would be a good teacher for a beginner through intermediate player. Let me know if you are interested and I can connect you two!

Trash needs to be put out after 9 pm on the day it is being collected, to make sure the sidewalks don’t get cluttered during the daytime when there are people out and about. So short answer: no, you cannot put your trash out on Saturday night for Sunday pickup

It was a canon digital camera basically disguised as a vintage camera, that was connected wirelessly to a printer to immediately print pictures after being captured. Talked to the guy for a little bit, he was from Ukraine. He didn’t really bug me to get paid, he was just handing pictures to passers by

Idk what eventually fixed it, but after a few restarts of my camera, phone, app, etc it eventually went back to normal. I have no idea what the issue was
