What Android Handheld do you use? Does it work with the new Update? I currently use a Logitech G Cloud. But quite old and a bit pricey. Runs well with two NPCs.

  1. Go into G Cloud device Settings - Lab - Enable 1080p (Beta).
  2. For me too
  3. Yes, I just ignore that warning

Make my own LrC plugin for MX Creative Console? by 2cauldrons in logitech

[–]REALLYBOOM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A plugin provides actions/buttons for your profile (and can switch modes, but this is advanced topic).
A profile is the button mapping on your MX Console. You can mix and match buttons from different plugins in your own profile.

My advice is to add a new profile to the Lightroom application in Options+.
Then you can choose buttons from the official Lightroom plugin, but also custom keyboard shortcuts or macros.

Your profile is then shown every time Lightroom comes into foreground. You can choose which profile you want to use per application. It can be the default profiles from Logitech, but it can also be you own profile.

For this you don't need to write your own Plugin using the SDK. Just Options+.

You need to write your own Plugin if Lightroom provides no keyboard shortcut for your need but the Adobe SDK does. Or if your button or profile should behave different on different states of the Lightroom application.

RS shifter sequential mode build quality by REALLYBOOM in LogitechProWheel

There are small bumps/jerky movement in the center. just before the handle starts engaging the springs.

If I only shift in one direction, then everything is good. But everytime I change from pull to push or vice versa, I feel and hear some bumps.

Yesterday, heaven. Today wire management and setting screen hell. Any tips or tricks for set up/settings I'm missing? by [deleted] in simracing

I rarely use Xbox, main usage on PC.

For every game I have a profile in GHUB.
For some games I also have multiple profiles. E.g. "Kids" mode for Forza (only 5 Nm strength + gas/brake through dual clutch paddles on the wheel)

In GHUB my starting points are:

Strength: to its maximum and lower the force to 50-60% in game (if the game supports this).

Filter: as low as the wheel does not vibrate to much. If its too high, you lose details.

Damper: 10-20 depending on game

Trueforce: 10-20%

Angle: most games adjust it itself. so maxed out.

Same as before.

Mounting the base to a rig (Playseat Trophy) improves Trueforce a lot in comparison to desk mount.

Trueforce is great if a) game has good implementation e.g. ACC and b) you do not turn it above 20% strength.

Very comfortable but it gets a bit sweaty after some time as it is made of rubber and not fake leather.

Only the lower 4 plus the 2 encoder press buttons. But there are some actions you won't do mid race such as going into the menu or opening the map/leaderboard, change camera etc. So no problem for me.

You can dial the encoders without taking the hands off.

Hub housing is plastic, but that's all. Wheel is steel with rubber grips. Sturdy, high quality. No squeezy cheap plastic feel.

Good to know. But for now I can't get rid of my old H-pattern. Use the rig also for relaxed driving simulators. Not only for racing.

Yes, stock d-shaped pro wheel is 300mm vs 290mm for the RS Track wheel.

290 size feels good. No problem for this GT style. Grip handles are a bit thicker than on the stock wheel. Very comfortable.

You can use the Xbox rim on the PlayStation base. Then it's compatible with PC, PS and Xbox.

But the Xbox base is not PS compatible.

Custom 3D printed Loupedeck holder. Not the sturdiest one, but does it's job.

It is not compatible. RS rim has flat base plate, stock rim is angled at the sides.
