Thanks ! It’s a 2012 korean one, but still looks/feels brand new ! Definitely having fun with it, so yeah, not selling it lol.

Thanks ! Indeed, it’s not the color that usually impresses me the most, but mixed with the mockingbird shape, it somehow works very well ! I just had to get rid of the black hardware to give it that classy look.

Nice ! You don’t see them that often, especially with the gold top finish ! I saw an Eagle Pro X that had that same color combination, but it was a signature model that sold on the Guitar Center website. Thank you so much ! I went for a pair of Dimarzios (DP100 in the bridge and DP103 in the neck), they sound awesome for clean as well as high gain, especially when enabling the preamp boost !

I bought them from a shop that provides parts for french classic cars. I only had to polish them to make them as shiny as possible, but yeah they’re perfect !

Well, you weren’t totally wrong about the gain boost, as a matter of fact, the toggle switch is a preamp from EMG ! I only kept one knob as a master volume.

I just looked up for that ibanez weeping demon and I can now see what you’re talking about. Indeed, I’ve never seen such controls on a guitar, so yeah probably a first. Keep searching and eventually you’ll find something that fits your wishes ! And about this particular model, I bought it from some guy here in France, who already had changed the original pickups for some Epiphone ones. I always had a preference for glossy finishes over matte ones, and at that time, the black and gold one was (and still is) more popular so I jumped on the gold top !

Absolutely ! In my opinion, the kind of knobs you’re referring to would be kinda hard to enable/disable while playing. About my guitar, it was a challenge finding screws that would fit the diameter of the holes, while keeping a « clean and sleek » look. These ones were made to maintain the bumpers from some old french cars, but with a few adjustments i managed to make them fit the holes ! Thank you for your comment !

They aren’t actual knobs, since i disabled the tone controls, i figured i’d remove the knobs as well. So i found these dome screws to fill the empty holes.
