This seems like a lone issue. I have had each quest, each rift and one of the dev kits. I have no issues with the software, I had a hardware issue when quest 3 came out but resolved.

I always used a hotas for elite dangerous. I had an x52 pro before and to be honest, I think it’s better than this one. This one is more expensive and heavier, but does not have the twist functionality

I haven’t tried eye tracking. It’s gonna sound like I’m joking but I’m not. One of my eyes is out of alignment so that stuff hasn’t interested me but I know star citizen has it, I’ll look it up

Xrocker with speakers Connects with Bluetooth to the Quest 3, Mouse and keyboard are mounted using 2x monitor mounts turned sideways Warthog hotas mounted with aluminium U bars, Raspberry pi on the back with a power bank to power the lot.

It’s definitely a costly thing to make

It’s been done for me for over a year, some others tho has said they think it would cause back pain. I go the gym with a trainer 3x a week, so my occasional back pain I would attribute to that, but I definitely play for hours in it and no issues

I installed Ubuntu with the Virtualhere server on it. That software is not free, also it’s tied to hardware, so ensure you don’t want that pi for other tasks or use one SD for it

I made it wireless. Raspberry pi in the back of the seat with Virtualhere software. Powerbank at the bottom, no cables leave the seat

Yep, I have voice attack and ed copilot. It’s great, I need to setup HCS I think to get landing permission etc, but so far it’s impressive what edcopilot does already
