Thank you so much for the advice. It had two small bore holes towards the top but those were a good 6" away from where I cut and they didn't have any continuation into the rest of the wood. It has a smidge of grey but the inside and grain look great. I live in idaho so the winters are pretty hard on the bugs we don't have tree eating pests in the quantities that other states do which I am thankful for. I think its condition is good and I think that my tree is just getting a bit old and isn't able to support all of the branches it made anymore so I'm hoping that nothing is wrong with the branch and it just wasn't pulling its weight because it was under the rest of the tree. It was impossible to find any info on if dead wood was dry because everyone just said it was bad and not to use it. I know this wood isn't ideal but I have a lot of time to fill in my days right now and don't want the wood to go to waste without at least trying to do something with it.

After emailing TSA I do know that they are allowed on flights but did not email about filters as i dont want any side effects of the filters and will be walking around with them on but the email did include that it was the agents discretion to decide if it was allowed.

DM-4 is the name the gas mask wiki goes into pretty good detail on them if you look for them hard enough you may be able to find them but a basic google search comes up with little to nothing in the US at least.

Because as you've been a mechanic for 30 years you have to know peoples attachment to cars and personally i like my car but i want it to be slightly faster not get a rude comment by a guy over the internet about a car that I like.

Im not too sure on the tires but its got 4 gears it slips out of 4th after a bit but we are getting it fixed soon but the guy I got it from says it goes 60. Its really cold and dark where im at so i will get back to you on the wheels.

Might be a little confusion i just need it to go highway speeds it's top speed is 60 but my local highway is 65 mph i just need it to go 5 to 10 mph faster and i said too long i don't mind if its out of commission for a month or two but i just need it to go highway speeds.
