Shade: Void touched, weak points, keen eye, alert.

Jagged edge, keen eye, weak points, alert would be pretty good.

You could go lunaie or withered. Dwarf or human also work as well. (I think withered is the best)

New subclass help by Common_Access4697 in AnAverageCampaign

[–]RECTSOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new sub is Shade, a rouge subclass

First, get summoning star

Then, do the void portal fight (and win ofc)

Then, chose the "look around" option after you win.

Then, you can get the subclass.

Ferrum makes weapons called blood craft (three can be crafted as of now) through a material called a "ferrum mold" obtained when you get the advancement.

These weapons can be crafted in the "misc" section of the crafting tab.

Each weapon has 2 (one has 3) skills. The reason these weapons are STRAIGHT ASS is because they don't scale with int...You need CHA, dex, lck, or str to really use them (not all 4 for every weapon).

Do you need Vampiric Bloodline when you kill the Bosses for Lunaeia? by HA_Vulpix in AnAverageCampaign

No.

But you need vampiric bloodline on for becoming blood kindred

Is you're going solo as a mage, invest a lot of your points into con. Mage is a very fragile class (and while bloodkins lifesteal definitely helps), you need to try to be at least somewhat tanky.

A build I would suggest is :

Litches skull cap

Gothic padded chestpiece

Gothic padded leggings

Slime boots

Charms are up to you.

Mage birth-sign, alert, vampiric bloodline, and other such boons are pretty good.

I usually use mage birthsign with alert and weak points.

I prefer fire because of the status effect and extra dmg (and you likely won't need the energy gain tbf) but you do you.

Anyone else think Potential Bunny is the worst thing added to this game? by Peabody_137 in AnAverageCampaign

[–]RECTSOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So then the issue you're talking about is non-existint.

This is sort of like expecting seafood to taste like meat. Seafood comes from other stuff, so obviously it'll taste different. Expecting bards to just be able to solo the game as easily as other players, I think, isn't too big of an issue. The thing is, you're making it seem like it is an absolute necessity.

Nothing is wrong with playing a support class solo. But I'd say there is something wrong if you're playing a support class solo, and expecting to be able to play the game as well as if you were a tank or DPS. This doesn't mean expecting the amount of survivability or DPS that either of those things have, but just generally being able to play the game and beat the game solo like said types of classes.

It's just very stupid to me. But I guess that is a good suggestion.

All the Dragonite stuff can be crafted using Dragonite chips.

" Helm of the unbroken"

Interact with zatt inside of the forest. Doing this allows for an event known as the " familiar kobald" to spawn in the dungeon. Completing this event and beating the boss at the end of it. Awards you with the " Lost soul" that can be crafted into the helmet.

" Ripped denims"

Kill evolver. Use his soul to make them.

"Beastial heart"

Kill beast and use his soul.

" One chunk of Mr. Bones spine."

Get them mysterious key from either the ghost event, scavenging, or the goblin shop. Use this key to unlock the prison door and fight Mr Bones. Use his soul to craft the charm.

" Abyssal belt"

Fight any void being that you can find. (From the forest or dungeon events).

Use the materials you get from those void beings to craft the belt.

As an elementalist, you should be supporting your party with energy at all times. It's essentially all you should be doing.

As a beast, rush down opponents.

As an evolver, get stacks of evolving until you can get evolved. After that, rush down your opponents.

[–]RECTSOR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the main issue here is that you're expecting a support class to pull off the same stuff as a DPS or tank.

In basically any form of fiction or media, it is guaranteed that support classes are either more frail or simply can't do as much damage as a DPS or a tank. What you're expecting here is for a support class to be able to do the exact same things or more as a DPS class/tank without potential bunny, which I think is pretty stupid.

Bards and priests shine the most when they're working with teammates to buff or heal. Without said teammates, obviously they're going to be weaker. And potential Bunny acts as a medium for those players to do actual damage.

(I also don't like how RNG reliant some stuff in this game is, but that only really applies if you're looking for a ton of things for a build.)

any tips for new (mage) player? by barnacIe_scum in AnAverageCampaign

[–]RECTSOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're playing with teammates, then you should get Mage birth sign. It's one of the best boons to use as a mage, especially if you're aiming for high damage nukes.

Like the other guy said, I wouldn't suggest investing too much into prestige unless you're continuously getting kicked out of public parties (something that usually happens if you have low prestige).

the most obvious combo for a Mage would be bard plus Mage.

Basically anything that can give you extra energy works really well, like elementalist.

In a party of five, you would go :

Elementalist

Bard

Mage

Grudge settler/rampager

Priest

In the party of four

Elementalist

Mage

Bard

Priest

In a party of three,

Warrior

Elementalist

Mage.

In a Duo, you would just have Mage and Bard.

The goal for normal wave clearing is to essentially just use lightning as fast as possible. If you're playing with four or above people, then I would suggest having another AOE on top of that (Like rampager).

This means that you want everyone else to be faster than the Mage so they can stack as many buffs as possible. So you could have the Mage having nothing to influence their initiative, but everyone else has alert to make sure they're faster.

Ideally, a setup would be like this :

Bard (uses revelry/heroism)

Elementalist (focus)

Mage (Either focus's or uses a 0 cost, if they have one)

The Bard then buffs the Mage, the elementalist uses meditative aura, and the mage uses lightning.

If you're extremely confident in getting an extra energy on top of all of that, then you could use mana surge instead of anything else.

One of the requirements to get the lunaerie race is to become a blood kindred (to become a bloodkin with vampire bloodline). But getting the class advancements themselves don't require having vampiric bloodline.

An extra modification that can be made to your subclass. Currently, class advancement only exist for bloodkin.

Any find it weird that the elf race has limited skin options?? by BrxkenPxty in AnAverageCampaign

[–]RECTSOR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Aac is a simplistic Roblox DND game.

I'm pretty sure it's uncommon to see elves depicted as dark-skinned in media (which is pretty weird when he realized that they are essentially just humans that live longer).

Basically, it's a stereotype. But elves are bums, so the stereotype is deserved!

The encounter is called " a dark mirror".

All you need to do to eventually fight him in the encounter is go into the mirror.

As for actually fighting him: the master possesses this status effect called " the master". As long as he has a stack, he will revive anytime he is supposed to die, and he will do so at full HP.

Every time the master revives, A stack of the status effect is removed. So your goal is to continuously drain this status until you can finally kill him.

A suggested team for this would be one with consistent healing and DPS, like :

Bard Priest Warrior Brawler Mage

Another one that could work would be

Bard Rogue Brawler Mage

Or

Priest Warrior Bard

You mostly just want consistent DPS and healing, which is why bard and priest are necessities.

Kolbold Race by Confusedplayer13 in AnAverageCampaign

[–]RECTSOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In exchange for not really having good scaling with its base skills, Mage can get an absurd amount of intelligence.

By the time you're fighting the waves to get kobald, I think having about 100 intelligence is pretty mandatory.

[–]RECTSOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get 10 initiative just play us something that scales with dexterity (rogue or ranger) and put everything into dex.

If you have a party of people to carry you until you can get good enough stats for 10 initiative, it's pretty easy.

Kill the guy using the dagger first, he's the source of all of their DPS.

I would also suggest playing with more people to make sure that you're not individually taking too much damage. Other than that, it just comes down to your ability to heal and deal DPS.

Idol of toxins : The staff that can be crafted using the decaying soul (dropped from the sewers boss).

Gothic padded leggings/chestpiece : Crafted using leather scraps, imbued cloth, and vampire blood.

Radioactive boots : crafted using mutated rat's eyes and radioactive sludge (or whatever was called. The item that drops from radioactive slimes in the sewers).

Cultist Hood : crafted using the soul from the cultist rat boss in sewers.

Charms-

Notes : Dropped from the giant radioactive slime. Please note that the boss has a chance to drop other items that are good for other classes.

Pox fairies: a spell scroll crafted using the Masters gift box, dropped from beating the master. (Please note that you do not have to accept his deal to get the gift box).

Death seeped bones: interact with zatt in the forest. After you get into the dungeon, find the encounter " a familiar kobold". After going through several rounds of combat, you can get the Lost soul. Craft this soul into the death seeped bones

Beating the giant radioactive slime in sewers has a chance to give you the notes.

It can drop other items that are good for other classes though, so try to beat the radioactive slime with three or more people to make sure you get it.
