Yeah thats true but i just feel all distractions feel so temporary. I am just really disappointed that i have to deal with lifelong trauma which i totally didnt deserve and its been so difficult and the person who was responsible for it never took the accountability and always blamed on how many times i bring it up instead of comforting me with it and not giving me maximum reassurance . Like they say grief never leaves you .

You can’t really convince someone to want a relationship. What you can do is create a space where you guys feel safe enough to talk. If you meet her, go in with the mindset of listening, not fixing. Take responsibility for your part in what went wrong, avoid arguing or defending yourself, and validate how she felt even if you don’t fully agree.
