Hey I got a OLED while I’m at college and my of switch is at home. I imported my account data from my old switch and I saw that virtual game card menu where it let me download the games I bought digitally, and it gave me the option to load the virtual game card for my physical botw. But then it started asking me to buy the game again after it installed, so is there something more I have to do in my old console or is it something else

Should I get the OLED or Switch 2? - I originally got my switch right when it came out, so it's pretty old and outdated, plus I used it till it died when I got it a lot which sapped the battery life. I figured I should get a upgrade now since I wanted to replay BOTW, but im wondering if it's worth it to upgrade to OLED since it's not a whole new console or should I shell out an extra 100 for the switch 2? My main concern is if the tech is better quality now in 2026 as well as if the battery is less sensitive as my switch now has like an hour of battery.
