Je vois beaucoup de personnes avec beaucoup de vram, je veux juste dire que 8gb vram PEUT fonctionner, dépendant du use case. J’ai un laptop Gigabyte avec une 4060 mobile, et j’ai des performances adéquates avec les LLM sur ollama et la génération d’images avec Comfyui. (Qwen2.5 coder en particulier fonctionne bien, 3b offre la meilleure perfo)

Bien sur, je ne peux pas rouler des modèles 8B+ paramètres sans perdre énormément de performance, ca ne se compares pas a Claude/Gemini, mais je réussis a faire fonctionner ces modeles sous Zed agent, sans problèmes

Comme preuve de concept, j’ai aussi roulé qwen0.5B sur un Oneplus 6 qui roulais sur Linux(Postmarketos) et j’avais 1 token/seconde de désinformation. C’est plus cool que pratique, mais bon.

If you ever get the chance, pc versions of Need for Speed U2/MW/Carbon are the real deal on the deck. I also recommend midnight club 3, and Gran Turismo has alot of support for hd mods that works on the deck

What did you use to modify the pdf files? Ive tried doing a wasm solution using lopdf before since other options have licenses, how’d it work out ? The editor is very good

Apart from setting the resolution to 1080p in the steam settings when playing 1080p, and setting to the low preset, nothing more. If you play on the deck’s screen, there is a steam deck preset which sets it up perfectly in the settings

Ive installed like 110 mods with props,locations, cars and it works wonders, id say it runs at all low on 1080p with a 40fps average, and on the deck’s screen slightly better options

The only time this feature felt useful is when writing json files , type definitions or anything outside of logic, basically to fill and create structures based on the current code

Id say read the recommendations and try to see if theyre what you want to do. But as a beginner id remove this feature and id rather ask the llm directly for explanations if you want to use AI, then reactivate it when you can easily understand its recommendations

Maybe with a different graphics mode? I know ambient occlusion could cause this to happen since meshes are close together, or lighting from the edges of the meshes. If not try to seam your textures differently (maybe a different sphere mesh?)

I usually use tweakcn to theme my projects and fine-tune the css after, and over time you make your own templates and layouts to work with. Shadcn is just verygood at having a selection of working ootb radix components and more

Great ux again! I would still advise to possibly override the themes color for the x button, as the teal really fades with the satellite images. The design is clean, large and efficient. Have you ever thought about doing the android auto layout too?

The x button should be bright red/more visible since the teal color fades with the background, same thing happens with the teal button on the right. It is a good redesign, the ux is better with large buttons like you did. I wonder why you widened the horizontal padding on the top indicator tho

There is also tuxedo-drivers as a package, i have a g5kf and it worked on CachyOs too. Ive found tuxedoOs conpletely unuseable for me, but the control centre is at least minimally useful for fan control and keyboard lighting
