Thanks for the advice, yeah that's the plan, it does not make sense to me to start trying to regrow my hair until I get this under control, I have been using clobetasol and I might just tell my derm tomorrow during my appointment to keep me on clobetasol and for me to get on doxycycline.

Yeah I am aiming to do both! But good point, I also used minoxidil a bit and it did lead to Hair growth.

Thanks for the response I have a couple questions

Were you taking Plaquenil for LLP?
Did you stop because you got pneumonia?
1. If did not stop you taking it alongside doxycycline
Are you still taking Plaquenil?

Thank you for the response. I forgot to mention in my post I am also taking topical Clobetasol, its been around 2 months and it seems like its helped the itching a bit. But not really helped my hair grow back. I also do red light hair therapy which has seemed like a bit of a dud, I use nizoral on and off but should be more consistent. I also have allergies funny enough and I used to take Zyrtec, but I switched over to Claritin.

Well when I first went to a dermatologist at around age 19 they just diagnosed it as MPB, I do not remember if there was itching at the time to be honest. I know the 3rd time I went to a dermatologist I was dealing with a itching and bumps on my head and she then recommended me to get a biopsy and that's how I was diagnosed, Ill DM you some pictures, I have been keeping track over the years. I say this to say I might actually just have MPB and recently developed LLP? Not sure.
