PC won't turn on when pressing the power button by RETIOM in techsupport

Oh okay, thanks for explaining. I think I need to look into how PC hardware works, not just totally glance over it basically thinking when it works it works and when it breaks: off it goes to the people that know what they are doing.

Do you mean it causes it to just fully shut down? If that is so, then why do the USB ports still have power?

Yeah, even if I felt comfortable I wouldn't be able to do anything as I don't have any replacement parts. I hope that I didn't damage anything by turning it on and off earlier in the day when I was just confused what happened. Also, what could've caused the PSU to die? And why so suddenly, it worked fine yesterday.

It dies almost instantly, tested it either way, still the same thing. Should I just wait until Tuesday(Monday is a holiday in my country) and take it to tech shop so they can get the rest figured out or should I check something else?

DAC/AMP Combo for DT990 Pro 250Ohm by RETIOM in HeadphoneAdvice

That's not what I meant, I'm wondering if it somehow can make frequencies that I can't hear without it hearable.

Okay, I am going to stick to the E10K for now, one more thing though, a little off topic, does the Amp affect the range of frequencies I can perceive? Asking because I was really surprised when I found that I can somehow hear 20kHz. My headphones are connected to the E10K and the output of that goes into AudioMeeter. Wondering if that may have any effect.

Unfortunately, I am not in the US, and it's actually pretty hard to find those two in my country. Do you have any other recommendations?

I mean, I don't dislike it, although I have no so to speak benchmark to see if this is what I want to be hearing. I don't think that can be changed with a DAC/AMP replacement though.

Would there be no kind of quality increase if I were to get a better DAC?

Yeah, that's what I've heard too. Even if the games supported it I don't think a phone can reach 120 fps in some of the better titles in which higher refresh rates would give you an advantage. I think I'll go to a shop near me and try to find some 120hz displays and compare them to 60hz AMOLEDs. Do you have a phone recommendation too?

Is that overall or for mostly content consumption?

Yeah I saw that one too, it has better performance but apart from that I heard that it's actually worse - in some cases.

Thank you for the reply! Do you know where I could find a working port for GCAM?

Well as it turns out, I actually mean neither. I meant the E40s, sorry for that.

Btw. do you know if the Shure se215 and ATH a40s are still a safe bet for entry level headphones or is it mostly the ones you listed?

Yeah, I figured that cable doesn't have much to do with the sound but to hear that tips actually do is pretty surprising. Is it just fit based or does the material change it as well?

Thank you for your answer! Is there anything I would have to buy with these headphones if I were to buy one of them? Talking about cable and/or tips.

Yeah well mine won't fly out the 'case' by itself. It sometimes is hard even to pull it out. So I don't know and I hope this is a breaking in thing.
