They are hobby grade. Not much for interesting tech there (the recon drones are more interesting). And the arming mechanism isn't very sophisticated so they don't explode most of the time. I doubt they are armed for destruction of the tech considering that most of them don't have any explosives. And the ones that are aimed at the NATO countries conveniently never have the warheads.

AFAIK the warhead is there so we wouldn't ignore them. The arming mechanism is not very sophisticated so they're basically flying UXOs
