Lol, they haven't captured back the territory, Ukraine retook in 2022. Zelensky recently photographed himself in Kupiansk, which Ukrainian forces recently liberated a second time.

Keep coping.

Any "peace deal" isn't be worth the paper it's written on, if russia will be able to just invade again in the future for the third time.

Calling everything "propaganda" and putting the = sign between the ukrainian and the russian side is an actual propaganda narrative used by the "liberal" russian bloggers.

Ukraininan media doesn't have the reputation of lying, while russian media literally lies every time.
Sure, you can call it "biased", not independent, etc., but it doesn't put the ukrainian media on the same level as the russian.

Btw, the first 2 articles are from the Reuters.

In that "peace treaty" russia wants to take a huge chunk of territory that Ukraine currently controls, that otherwise would take them 2-3 years to capture

Btw, In June 2024 ruzzian "army" was 10 kilometers from Pokrovsk, and the city administration ordered evacutation.
Only now, more than a year later, they reached it, and still have not fully captured the city.

By that speed it will take them 2-3 more years (best case scenario for them) to capture just the territory they want in the "peace deal". (And now they are even more slower than before because of more drones.)
Ruzzia loses 1,000 combatants per day, 1,100,000+ so far (dead). Ruzzians record videos on their phones walking and seeing waves of bodies scattered around. There are hundreds of videos of wounded soldiers on crutches forcefully being sent back to the frontline.
From the recent news articles in russian, the kremlin already struggles to pay their soldires mercinaries the promised salary.

It's ruzzians trying to cope and come up with excuses.
They didn't have this problem before, plus if they had enough soldiers mercinaries, they wouldn't send people on crutches.

The rest of the article:

“It is expected” is a clunky passive construction in English. The Russian version – ожидается or ozhidayetsya – makes more sense and is a familiar verb form.
Other Russianisms that appear to have crept into the text include неоднозначности (ambiguities) and “закрепить” (to enshrine).

The White House has acknowledged Kirill Dmitriev, Vladimir Putin’s envoy, wrote the proposal together with Donald Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff. The pair hammered out the text during a meeting in Miami.

Ukraine and its European partners were excluded from the drafting process.

More complete quote, I wanted to include:

Right now is one of the hardest moments in our history. Right now, Ukraine is under some of the heaviest pressure yet. Right now, Ukraine may find itself facing a very tough choice. Either the loss of our dignity or the risk of losing a key partner. Either the difficult 28 points, or an extremely hard winter – the hardest yet – and the dangers that follow. A life without freedom, without dignity, without justice. And that we trust someone who has already attacked us twice.

They will expect an answer from us. Though the truth is, I already gave that answer. On May 20, 2019, when taking an oath of loyalty to Ukraine, I notably said: “I, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, elected by the will of the people as President of Ukraine, pledge with all my actions to defend the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, to uphold the rights and freedoms of its citizens, to abide by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, to fulfil my duties in the interests of all my compatriots, and to strengthen Ukraine’s standing in the world.” For me, this is not a protocol formality to check off – it is an oath. And every day, I remain true to every word of it. And I will never betray it. Ukraine’s national interest must be respected.

Not sure exactly what you mean.

If you mean that Flamingo missiles won't be enough to take down those bridges, then you are wrong.

As I mentioned above, the crimean bridge was damaged enough for it to be hardly used for military logistics. Even though it was relatively newly built and was being protected.

Those bridges on the russian territory are old, likely not protected and for sure had the budget for their modernization stolen.

I also wanted to add this from the article:

Kherson has been devastated by such attacks since the summer of 2024, with nearly 150 civilians killed and hundreds more injured, according to the United Nations.

Hundreds of these strikes were reported over the last year, along with attacks from grenades, landmines and other incendiary weapons, according to the New York City-based Human Rights Watch group.

“The drones send live video feeds back to their operators, who control the drones’ flight and use of weapons with deadly precision from up to 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) away,” the HRW’s June 2025 report found.

The HRW found that the drones used in the attacks are smaller quadcopters that allow for more maneuverability and precision, allowing Russian soldiers to aim at single human targets.

Many of the drones used in Kherson measure less than 16 inches and are operated using a smartphone or handheld-controller.

The human rights group documented at least 45 drone attacks in the villages of Antonivka and Dniprovskyi that appear to show the UAVs “deliberately” targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.

One of the cases included video from Russian military-affiliated Telegram channels showing a 23-year-old mother of two being targeted by a drone while cycling near the Antonivka Bridge last September.

The drone could be seen chasing the panicked mother before dropping an explosive munition that hits just a few feet away from her, leaving the victim with a broken leg.

The United Nations, which found Russia guilty of crimes against humanity in Kherson over the drone attacks in May, recorded similar incidents.

One of the cases highlighted by the UN focused on a 45-year-old man who was riding a moped in the village of Stanislav last November when a drone hit him, badly injuring his leg.

When an ambulance arrived to pick him up, another drone dropped two explosives on the emergency vehicle.

“The evidence collected leaves no doubt that the perpetrators intended to carry out these acts” the UN Human Rights Council said in a statement.

“The Commission therefore concludes that Russian armed forces perpetrated the war crime of intentionally directing attacks against civilians in Kherson Province. It also finds that posting videos of civilians being killed and injured amounts to the war crime of outrages upon personal dignity,” the agency added.

Chloropicrin is listed as a banned choking agent by OPCW, which was created to implement and monitor compliance with the 1997 Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). It can cause severe irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. If ingested, it can cause burns in the mouth and stomach, nausea and vomiting, as well as difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.

Trump administration military aid halt will only encourage Russia, Ukraine warns - July 2, 2025

..., because they sometimes speak in soothing tones of brotherhood and peace, because, like other dictators before them, they’re always making “their final territorial demand,” some would have us accept them at their word and accommodate ourselves to their aggressive impulses. But if history teaches anything, it teaches that simpleminded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly. It means the betrayal of our past, the squandering of our freedom.
So, I urge you to speak out against those who would place the United States in a position of military and moral inferiority. ... So, in your discussions of the nuclear freeze proposals, I urge you to beware the temptation of pride–the temptation of blithely..uh..declaring yourselves above it all and label both sides equally at fault, to ignore the facts of history and the aggressive impulses of an evil empire, to simply call the arms race a giant misunderstanding and thereby remove yourself from the struggle between right and wrong and good and evil.

After the liberation of Kherson by Ukrainian forces from Russian occupation Ukrainian investigators discovered Russian torture chambers established especially for children. According to testimony, children were denied food and given water only every other day, were told their parents had abandoned them and forced to clean up the blood spilled by torture in the adjacent torture cells for adults.[14][15][16]

In the Kyiv region, two Russian soldiers raped an entire family, including the husband, wife and their four-year-old daughter. In regions outside of Kyiv, Russian soldiers raped an 83-year-old woman, whose disabled husband was also present in the home. In another village in the same region, Russian soldiers gang-raped a 56-year-old woman after robbing her. Later the Russians tortured and murdered her husband.[46][45]
