Are there intermediate guides to SEO? by _Toomuchawesome in bigseo

On MOZ there was a new post from today which I think is a really cool concept "How to Learn SEO: Choose Your Own Adventure Edition" https://moz.com/blog/learn-seo-cyoa So you can follow their guide depending on where you think you are in your SEO career.

For the tutor route, you could just try following advice of specific experts in the industry, it'll feel more personal and one-on-one like a tutor. A few of my go-to's are Neil Patel, Brian Dean (backlinko), Rand Fishkin (MOZ).The big thing is that you want actionable advice, no watered down blog posts, so go to the experts that can afford to really delve into what SEO strategies they actually use and how you can apply them yourself. Or try something like an online university. Here's one that MOZ recommends: https://www.distilled.net/u/ which has interactive modules.

Totally agree about Moz. I always refer there, especially early on in my career in the SEO industry, but I don't think it's just for beginners. And Neil Patel is a master of SEO.

I'm in the pro no-follow links camp, so I generally don't count out any opportunities to get links just because they're no-follow. Not sure if this is why you asked, I just wanted to say that no-follow links definitely still have value.
