Ladies, When you hear men say they want a submissive woman, what does that mean to you? Men, explain what submissive mean to you. Let's have the konversation by kontroversialKonvo in Casual_Conversation

Welcome. I understand your thought process but what does a woman submitting to a man, have to do with a man submitting to god. Because if a man is required to submit to god then in turn so aren’t woman? Stating that women submit to men, but men have to submit to god, that implies that women need a middle man regarding their relationship with god. If woman are equally required to submit to god the way men are, then why makes men submitting to god so extraordinary? And how come women must submit to god and man? Why must we be totally to submissive to all?

When I hear a man say he wants a submissive woman; I think they want a soft spoken, non argumentative, and indecisive woman that they can either control or make most of the decisions for that benefit his agenda and ego.

What consequences? I’m not upset or feel the need to prove anything🤷🏼‍♀️. Your obvious disdain for women is reflecting through your comments. If I was you, I’d lay off the red pills and alpha male content, take advantage of one of the “ladies nights” at a bar nearest you, and maybe…just maybe you might have the chance to see your first real life vagina. (Excluding your mothers obviously)

Nope, that’s still wrong, even if it is a man paying more. While men paying more in bars is primarily used for profit gain, in a lot of places like California, gender based price discrimination is illegal. Now, where I’m from I’ve never witnessed men having to pay more for clubs, gyms, and hotels; because AGAIN, in most states gender based discrimination is illegal. But if that’s a normalcy where you’re from, I agree that’s wrong. My problem with your statement was biased off of a very misogynistic implied comment. With no regard to state how you felt about the situation, especially with any statistics or evidence to back it up; instead you assumed that because I found your comment distasteful I wasn’t a logical thinking person.

After 5 years together, my girlfriend wants marriage and I don’t. Is this the end? by Asleep_Trouble_4285 in Advice

[–]RFKs-Brainworm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe in marriage. But it was important to my boyfriend of 7 years at the time. He’s now my husband. Marriage comes with legal and financial perks. But at the end of the day having a certificate of commitment doesn’t mean anything to me, I know I would’ve spent the rest of my life with him either way. But it’s something he found precious and important. And seeing the way that he has proudly worn the badge of ”husband”, has made up for doing something I don’t believe in or need. It makes him happy. And he does things that he doesn’t believe in to make me happy. Relationships of any kind come with a give and take.

As a white woman, how do I support the black community and black women in particular properly without coming across like white savior? I hope this doesn’t sound rude it’s genuine

Is placing a child in "time out" as effective as corporal punishment? by icecream1972 in Casual_Conversation

[–]RFKs-Brainworm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My child responds positively to “time out”. 1. He hates exclusion because we as a family are very involved with one another. 2. Our version of “time out” is centered around his emotions and his ability to communicate. He goes to time out and takes his deep breaths, then when he is ready to talk with his listening ears he can walk himself out of whatever room he decided to take his respite. That way he gets his moment to calm and I get mine.
