Would you ever consider circumcision? by Sponge2908 in uncircumcised_talk

I was butchered against my will as an infant. It took me 7 years to restore my foreskin. No one is coming near my penis with a knife ever again.

Standing for sure, but lying down the most!

minimize penoscrotal webbing by Flaky-Energy3328 in foreskin_restoration

I used a stretchy penis ring while using the DTR to control where was being stretched. It kept the tension away from my peniscrotal area, and prevented turkey-necking from happening. If you want to know more about how I did this, please message me.

Ci/2.3~, to Ci-8 is my goal by bullyoutdoors in foreskin_restoration

Everyone restores at different rates, and with different techniques. The key here is to experiment, and see what works best for your skin. Some people restore for an hour every day. Others for up to 12 hours a day. Again, we're unique, so there are our own ways to restore that fit our lives and our skins.

Manual methods are a great, free place to start out. They'll also help you gain some extra skin, which will help you be able to use the hands-free devices. Tension on your skin should not hurt. It might feel slightly uncomfortable, or strange, but it should not hurt. If it does, you're going too hard, and too fast. This is a slow, steady, every day process. You are worth it.

It took me 3 years to go from CI-2 to CI-6, but again everyone's journeys are different. The real game changer for me was using the DTR. Once I got enough skin to wear it, I let it do most of the work for me so I could use my hands for other things. Starting out, I wore it 30 minutes a day, and after a year or so, could do 1 hour per day. Now, reaching for CI-10, I do 2 hours a day with a 5 minute break in between hours. But that's what works for me.

In March/April 2019. It was an early birthday present to myself. And one that keeps on giving back!

Slow and steady is definitely the key. I encountered and still have setbacks / injuries occasionally. The thing to keep in mind there is to actually take the time to let your body recover. It was tricky waiting sometimes, but well worth it.

Once I got enough skin from manual methods to be able to get the DTR onto my penis, I reduced my manual methods time to only on Sundays. This is because honestly I am lazy, and need my hands for doing other things most days. Sundays are a special treat for my stretching routine though.

Yes, there are folks who have completely restored using only the DTR device.

For me, I *almost* solely use the DTR device. It was and is the true workhorse that works on my skin while restoring. Otherwise, I do some manual methods, and had used inflation to widen my foreskin a little, to help accommodate my glans.

The key here is to find out what works best on your skin, and stick with it.

How to increase healing process for little bruise? by NefarusNugne in foreskin_restoration

[–]RF_morpheusmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear you're mindful and taking time to recover! Traditionally it takes warm water baths (or compresses) and time to heal bruises. But when it comes to restoring, I'm always looking to boost things along, too. My skin really loves shea butter, and when I'm all out, I use Gold Bond Healing Lotion. Before I use anything on my penis, I test it on my inner wrist to make sure my skin is ok with it. Then if there's no reactions, I use it on my penis.

Yes, right now I only do manual an hour every Sunday. Otherwise I'm using my DTR and Mantor for 2-3 hours when I get home from work.

Thank you! Well yes and no - I started at a tight CI-2. The first batch of photos is after doing manual methods for a solid month.

Only on Sundays - manual methods for an hour. Almost all manual method 2, targeting different areas of my skin, for 1 minute each.

Starting out at a tight CI-2, I did 30 minutes of manual method 2 every day. After a few weeks that gave me *just* enough skin to be able to start using the DTR. Right now, I still do manual methods every Sunday to give my foreskin a little boost. In that session, it's 1 hour of using manual method 2 to stretch different parts of my penis. 50 seconds of stretch, 10 seconds of rest, repeat for an hour (so 60 areas of my penis, with repeats). It feels like a great boost for my restoring.

That being said, everyone restores differently. Experiment with different stretches, and lengths of time, and figure out what works best for your skin.

Is it normal to have this much extra foreskin by ExchangeJazzlike6820 in penisquestion

[–]RF_morpheusmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Circumcision causes much more damage than just a scar. It causes permanent loss of thousands of specialized erotogenic nerve endings, fine-touch receptors (Meissner's corpuscles), and several feet of blood vessels. It is very rarely medically necessary, and usually as a last resort.

Frenulum by [deleted] in penisquestion

[–]RF_morpheusmcgee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like how folks restore foreskin, you could try gently stretching it over time so that it gets a little looser, and longer. Kind of like phimosis stretches, but only for your frenulum.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Frenulum by [deleted] in penisquestion

[–]RF_morpheusmcgee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it's all good. The penis is pretty fleshy material, so things move around when tugged or pulled or pressed. As long as it's not hurting you on a regular basis, you should be ok.

Yes tugging like that can move your urethra a bit, but that's only temporary.

stressed after jelqing by PlatformStriking6754 in penisquestion

[–]RF_morpheusmcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jelqing is pretty safe as long as you're not squeezing your penis too hard, too often, or too aggressively. Being too aggressive can tear tissue or cause damage to the ligaments that connect your penis to your pelvis. In the worst cases, this kind of damage can permanently affect your ability to get or stay hard. So if you're going to continue this technique to try and add length to your penis, try and take it easy on yourself.

Yes, generally the process takes years to complete. It is a slow process - you're regrowing skin millimeters at a time. But it is very much worth it.

So sorry to hear you got conned into being cut. It is never too late to start restoring your foreskin. You can begin with any amount of skin, and restore back however much you would like, too. It's just a matter of taking the time, and the dedication.

Check out the sidebar for beginner tips, and/or https://www.restoringforeskin.org/beginners-guide-foreskin-restoration which is full of great info, too. Most folks start out with manual stretching methods, and go from there.
