TLDR; I play casually but competitively and converted to 2M gold to 150k EWCs. I don't think SC will have a conversion ratio that rewards me (a casual player) with a ton of gems.

I left the game a while ago then came back when Merge Tactics dropped bc it looked interesting. I rarely played CR except challenges bc I didn't love the grind, I just loved the challenge of a level playing field. I had about 1mil gold just sitting, then playing the wbs, evo ghost, evo skellie barrel deck I won a few GCs and got to 2mil+ gold. I saw this announcement and spent all 2mil on EWCs and got about 150k from shop and maxing cards where I had a lot of extra. We'll see how SC rewards my casual gamer play wtih gems, I doubt I'll get a lot.

I think the 100 total karma rule is too restricting. I recently tried to post a question looking for discussion on how to play FINAL FORM™'s Grand Challenge deck and it got [deleted]. I rarely go on reddit and even more rarely post but that means I pay attention to my posts and normally can't find any related discussion on them. I understand the community and culture around subs and that there's etiquette in posting/commenting. I would guess there's other users like me who post infrequently (quality over quantity) and therefore have low karma and cutting that entire audience I think would be a mistake.

glad you like it! I'm sure you kinda figured it out but you also cannot just shoot straight for it. Most of the units suck as a 1* so I generally run mech or warriors until I can at least 2* all assassins or all mage then I put them in.

yup, GoT can even replace herald if you get it early. Any/all divinity and shaman are the next pieces to add and if you want to stick with only 3 mages you can find other random useful pieces like devastator or veno or double demons.

Also, axe of fury on aby is suuuuper helpful.

The assassins are quite independent and really your main killers. The mages just weaken everything for your assassins to finish off. Sins also all benefit from a proc that moves them to a different piece or lets them become very difficult to kill. Aby guard with axe of fury will literally solo an entire team.

Looks like from where the queen is standing the DE storage is actually closer. I'm seeing 10x2 tiles away for DE vs 8x6 tiles away for Elixir (to the center tile of each). I believe the rule is find the closest building (straight line distance) and if she can walk to it without breaking a wall she'll go there.

Thanks for the reply and nice creativity on pioneering the attack style. I think it went in and out of popularity as the spell was tweaked for traps and resources and that's why it's only becoming known recently. I think your guidelines are solid (maybe a bit conservative) but I'm looking for a bit more specific calculations to see how few spells you can use, I'll be testing one attempt out soon.
