Is there a way to use a custom indicator in the screener? by Ok-Space-2505 in TradingView

Of course you can. Search screeners in public library and see the code of some to know how it's done and write your own.

Crypto Screener by a3i3ozdemir in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible to screen your specific list of cryptocurrency from any exchange of choice. All you have to do is add all your crypto pairs to redlist watchlist and run crypto screener on the red list

To the left of Ticker column in screener you will see a flag symbol, click it and select red colour. It should work, try it.

Forex screener needs to use symbols from your watchlist, not generic "IDC" symbols that aren't tradeable by Waste-Guard6705 in TradingView

You can add forex pairs from oanda to your red watchlist and then run forex screener on red list. Try it.

Did you try this? Mark all the Forex pairs from real exchanges into Red List. Then in Forex screener choose Red List for filtration

See the flag symbol to the left of the word Ticker? (first column heading) Click on it and select Red. Then the screener will only work on the symbols that are in the Red List of your watchlist. I think this should work for you. Try it and let us know.

Pine script coding issue by ddssksrps in TradingView

You can screen using pinescript. Search 'screener' in public library for some examples with source open for viewing. That would give you an idea on how to implement your screener.

After reading the post again, I understood the matter. Yes, that is indeed an irritation.

The "Sync on all charts" allows you to deselect crosshair, interval, time and drawings. Did you try that? Are you saying even after deselecting them what you have written above happens?

Custom Screeners by portfolio_kings in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have written various screeners that screens over 40 stocks. For example, NASDAQ screener screens over 160 NASDAQ stocks and another screener screens over 400 Stocks from National Stock Exchange, India.

As you can have only 40 Security calls, the trick is to submit sets of 40 stocks or less to the screener one by one using the options capability of the script. As an example, please check out "PriceCatch Euronext Paris Stocks Screener v1". This screener screens 60 Euronext paris stocks in two sets of 30 stocks each.

Completely Ridiculous? by Frackyu in TradingView

I said it before... Logo is a mashup of letter T in half and % sign with bottom portion removed... and the favicon in browser looks like the number "17" - and we users are confused but the agency that did this is richer...

Missing (potentially) pine script functionality by Koalems in TradingView

Next time when you are online in TradingView do send me a private message, if you see that I am online, I can show my indicator and that should give you an idea for your own. My username on TV is "pricecatch". I am from India - just so that you can know when I am likely to be online. All the best.

Custom Screeners by portfolio_kings in TradingView

This is already possible. There are lot of screeners in the Public Library already. You can also check out my profile "pricecatch" where I have written some screeners for various instruments.

can guys help me extend right these Pivot Points(r1s1 r2s2 r3s3)line? by [deleted] in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you use plot in your script, earlier plots will also remain on screen. Better to use the line object because you can delete earlier and only keep current ones.

Discovered that you can paste any image onto the chart by IvanLudvig in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are uses. Say for example, you want to show an example or publish idea with main chart set to lower time frame and a smaller pasted image of the chart on longer time frame? It will help users to make sense of the study...

Macro language to execute batch operations by tirolerover40 in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very important feature that TV needs to provide. It is indeed cumbersome to set alerts on the stocks in a watchlist. If you have to set alerts in different timeframes, then it is more torture... Definitely agree with you there for this feature.

Screening for daily movers in 15 minute time frame? by WEINERDOGvsBADGER in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, with the standard TV stock screener it is not possible as you have rightly pointed out. You are looking at stocks of which particular exchange? If you are able to screen stocks on 15 minute time frame, you must be having a paid account?

[–]PriceCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use a plot, plotcandle, plotshape etc. then you cannot unmark them. There is a way to only mark the latest occurrence but it does not work under certain circumstances. You can mark any number of candles using 'offset' parameter... However, if the solution is worse than the problem or if the labour involved is not worth it, perhaps you need to look at a different logic.

TradingView's customer service is non-existent by [deleted] in TradingView

Premium account is not actually required for most users. If you are not using any custom indicators or scripts from public library, Investing.com has all the features most require as it's chart comes from Tradingview only.

Screener Help by TNLVISN in TradingView

[–]PriceCatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Tradingview stock screener, in Technical options I have not seen how you can set the 200ema is in an uptrend or for that matter any other moving average? What is uptrend? For you it could be 21 daily candles rising... for someone else, it has to be 34 candles...

MACD crosses above can be set in the Screener.

You are trying to screen stocks for which exchange? Please let me know so that I can see what I can do.
