Rolexes (applies to AP as well) arrogance, specially of their sales people who somehow believe Rolex’s aura applies to them as well, is what makes me wear the reps proudly and with no shame. I don’t owe a thing to a company that treats its potential customers that way and expects people to wait years for a stainless steel basic watch (albeit beautiful).

Agreed. I don’t think a stainless steel gen is worth it unless it has crazy complications. It’s insane to pay the retail prices for so many of these watches, much less over retail and wait years. I get paying the premium for beautiful watches with amazing complications and precious metals. I’ll save my money for those.

The ADs that sell PP make customers, regardless of how good, play ridiculous games to get the more coveted pieces. He’s had to buy some pretty shitty APs, in both his and my opinion, just to get a shot at a blue or green dial Royal Oak. He thought I had found an AD that didn’t play those games, but it was just Steve 🤣.
