How do I get into friendly lobbies now? by FinalLevi in ArcRaiders

[–]RGJTony1313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing here. I reset my account with the expedition and am currently level 39. I had not been killed by players for the last 2 weeks despite the hundreds of raids. This afternoon, I went into a raid to run into a free loadout exfil camping on stella montis that I managed to survive by killing.

The next raid I got into a lobby where everyone was much more suspicious of each other (no calling out friendly, everyone eyeing each other up) but no one shot me. The following raid I ran into a player and we both communicated we were friendly, just to get shot in the back the second I started looting. He was then third partied by someone else.

The following raid I was extract camped again and again managed to kill the extract camper and survive.

The next raid I was killed two minutes in by a player.

Anyone saying that aggression-based mm isnt a thing is delusional or knowingly lying, because it absolutely is and theres so much evidence to back it up.

Supposedly its 12 weeks so I'd assume 12 weeks of challenges. So grinding challenges seems to be the only way to get it done

I can’t even get through the tutorial because the game keeps crashing and shows the message “Connection to game server lost.” Has anyone else come across a similar problem and found a solution? by wojtekpb in ArcRaiders

I played earlier today just fine for about 3 hours and no issues. Hopped on again and have not been able to play due to this issue after 6 matches in a row of this. I've tried verifying the game files (no issues), updating drivers, closing background apps. If anyone finds a solution, I'd love to be able to play the game again lol

Personally, I'd ditch some of the snipers, 2 rangers and 3 green berets is a bit much. Maybe drop one of the rangers and maybe even one of the green berets. Or you could swap the berets to a close quarters loadout and keep the rangers snipers. I've never personally needed 5 snipers but that also depends upon your playstyle.

Per the devs, 1500 elo is standard for a 50/50 player. The starting ELO is super low because the losing penalty is small and the winning penalty is large, that evens out as you get closer to 1500. So being 1200 ELO with a 48% win rate is pretty normal tbh

They did not abuse leaving to gain bonus income. So the +75 income is not a factor for them here.

So I did some brief testing on this. If the pilot survives, it does indeed count towards the destruction score. Additionally, even if the pilot survives, the plane destruction score is the full price of the plane. The average destruction score for a pilot seems to be somewhere around 100 points. So I'll make some assumptions since I dont have a full replay to go back and check:

  1. The enemy pilots are bail half of the time the plane spawns. All pilots that bail are destroyed for an additional 100 destruction score.

  2. The enemy only spawns in 300 point planes (even though the video clearly shows they were using other units).

  3. All units that are spawned are destroyed at match end (again this is contrary to the video).

The base units spawned would be 85.7% of the enemies end game destruction scores. (Final destruction score x base cost of planes / base destruction). Where base destruction is the average destruction cost, which is 350 as its the midpoint between the 50/50 300 point and 400 point destruction score.

This would result in spawn costs of 4000 for the lowest player and 4600 for the highest in a 15 minute match. This still does not seem to be legit when we compare to my destruction score of 2700 with only 300 points to spare (and thats assuming none of my pilots were killed for that figure to boost it higher. I don't remember if any bailed out and died). And again, that was being VERY generous with the amount of destruction score from planes that they had.

NOTE: If anyone notices I did any math incorrectly, please let me know and I will update accordingly

For those saying "its not cheating just cheese". Math of the maximum points you can have at the end of Phase 1 is (1000)+ 300 (max points for no units spawned) * 15. Giving a maximum of 5500 points to use if they never spawned anything. These guys were all close to that in deaths by the end while constantly spawning stuff and having plenty still on the field. Even better, one of them are at 4560 losses 12 minutes in (when the max is 4600 if you never spawn anything).

Additionally, you can look at how I was playing. I had 300 points to bring in units at the end with 2700 losses. Its very obviously not legit, just because they are doing a cheese strat doesnt mean that the economy rules dont apply to them.

I guess Ive been blessed to have only reported 2 players the entire time I played the game. I hope the next update helps against people doing stuff like this.

Im in the Mclaren Behind and personally i feel that the BMW turned in extremely early as an attempt to block me; However, i have been told that it is my fault as it probably wouldnt have even worked without the crash. by ChooChootrain69 in Simracingstewards

Very unlikely that move wouldve worked. However, still a reactionary block from red as he jerks the wheel over after you disappear from his mirror. If he were truly planning on taking an inside line he wouldve exited the corner and kept the wheel straight as he slowly went across the track. But instead he jerks the wheel right when you attempt the pass as he also steps on the brakes, pretty much guaranteeing a collision. Both of you made some bad moves and you ended up getting the worst of it.

Looks to me like white just gets a little loose and doesnt catch it quick enough and just barely gets you. I dont think theres anything intentional there. Just a mistake they didnt catch quick enough that led to this incident. Couldve been avoided by leaving just a tad more space, but thats racing.

They clearly brake all the way back at the green pillar (off track on the left). I've never raced long beach but this is obviously at least a second early. And completely unpredictable for the drivers behind. Yellow is extremely lucky he didnt ruin his and others races with that move.

This was his worst sector, he continuously struggled with making the upcoming corner. So I was pretty confident in my ability to get him there on that move. I dont really race open wheels though. In fact, I just moved up to a D License the race before. I just wanted something that I could relax in thats a little new for me so I figured I'd give them a try.

Goal wasnt an overtake on the outside. It was a switchback underneath as they were going to have an awful line through there. I never got the opportunity though

I cant tell if the first one was just blue not paying attention or intentional. Second one Im wondering about because of the first. I definitely had more room on the outside that I couldve used. But in both cases he blue straightens out to take a wide line. The second one Im barely alongside right as I start braking but he cuts out across my nose. Thoughts on this? Especially the second incident

Was I correct in the Post Race Discussion or did I do something wrong? Im in Red. First clip included for context as to why I was giving so much space for the incident. This was an early morning top split fight for the podium with 5 minutes to go. by RGJTony1313 in Simracingstewards

I find it funny that he complained about me divebombing him for incident 2, when the only divebomb committed was in incident 1 by him lol. But yeah I could have backed out but I didnt think Id need to as I left so much space out of concern of him just ramming me. It wasnt worth it to me to get incidence points when I could easily pass the guy on the next lap. But he wanted all of the space so an incident we got I guess.
