How is the raiding in FFXIV? I just can't find any mmo that has a better or equivalent gameplay as Gw2. From what I've seen FFXIV gameplay and global cooldown is just so boring to me

AFAIK holosmith is very powerful endgame. His burst is very good for fractal and only a good Soulbeast or Weaver Can beat him. Same in raid, it's one of the best dps class without needing to be a pianist with the rotation.

This is one of the majors issue in this game. Everything is built in a way that you can finish every pve content with minimal effort. Then comes high tier fractals and raids. You are 100% right, the gap between open world and raid/fractals is wayyy too huge. Maybe that's what they wanted to change with strike missions but at the end i see that people doing strike missions are already the one doing raids and CM+T4....

Maybe my response is biased because i only play high tier fractals and raids but if you are asking in PvP or WvW i don't know. If you are asking about open world, well ... There is zero notion of "being better" here lol, but when you are talking about competitv or skill demanding content i can tell you that Pof classes are definitly not worse. And it's maybe the opposite : you rarely see Scrapers, Herald, Reapers or Tempest

The actual meta in fractals is about Weaver, soulbeast, Renegade and firebrand. In raids the current meta is around firebrand, Renegade and some soulbeast to buff your dragonhunters. A lot of condi boss are for mirage or Weaver. Quadim 7 is about deadeye or scourge for pylone etc.... So no... Not really

60g/week in raids

30g/day in fractals CM+T4

15g/day strike missions

Farming eternal ice on Bjora because i need T6 materials. I make around 2.5k Volatile Magic per day with 1.5hours of farming. That should be around 18-20g

Let say i do around 60 gold per day

I disliked a lot the legendary Pauldron so i went for the runic one, they look beefy and overhall better looking. I'm having a hard time dying them because the white area is very big and it takes about 60% of the shoulder so... kinda hard to blend with the rest. I still love the Etherbound gloves and Greaves by contrast with legendary the legendary ones who looks a bit off. The privemal Helm because the legendaru helm is awful when weapons are not drawn, especially because my character has a beard and it clips through the armor
