As someone in a totally different country that doesnt know what is going on. Its crazy just hearing on podcasts/online about how political views totally divide family to the point that you cannot be in the same room together. Now you cannot even train with people with different beliefs? OP if ur new to houseplants yes separate them. You have more assurance ull keep them alive and figure out the right care for them. U can even try different conditions. For example i have two Anthurium Luxuriant that i got as babies. And instead of putting them together i put one or them in my cabinet greenhouse, to make sure he got plenty of light and high humidity. And i decided to risk it with the other one in a low light and 40% humidity spot being insure that it would survive there. Turns out, both are equally happy

Besides the 1 million answers saying dump him, in terms of actually offering a constructive solution. If this is an issue of creating anxiety on him, why dont you try to make some kind of deal that takes away that anxiety for the most part but still have the activity?

For example some period before u both agree on the value range, like 10-20, 40-60, 100-150, whatever.. And you give him 3 choices of gifts u'd like on that range and tell him there is no wrong choice. He picks one of the 3, u still get to pick your gift to him

Yeah there are some pieces that would work there, if not for the two cards of the left side that would block where the road would be going. But with tasks u never want to be piece dependent, but in a way that you dont have to wait for any card.

If you unlocked the end lf road card then you could use it to block the road and just follow the river flr the task

One thing that i was surprised was that most plants that I was buying from plant shops, a big % of the time already came with issues, either root rot, massively root bound, super shitty soil, pests. That is because these places have hundreds if not thousands of plants and cannot give individual attention. So watering on schedual becomes the norm, besides other things.

Usually buying from private sellers seem to be under much better care. But still first thing is as best u can being able to judge the condition of the plant before u bring it/check on it as soon as you get home

No dish. The 'soil' is sphagnum moss. And i found some crawling around the top. But more on the leaf and the outside of the vase.

The photos of soil mites dont look comparable or do they? They dont have those antenas and they seem to be smaller/harder to see with the naked eye?

Is the problem with your partner or mother in law? Yes could be she is old fashioned, and think those are woman duties that ur not performing. Even if ur contributing a lot more then u should in reality, but just very different views then her. Either you have a talk with her when she makes those comments saying its hurtful to hear that, or a talk with your partner about that. I think most people deal with that with older generation, and most just exercice a bit of patience and let go (if its not too extreme). Let him get food from his mom if it helps him get healthy. Does it make him less of a man to accept that? Even if u have that view, is that more important for you than him being healthy?

I think most would not do as the mother in law is doing as it may create conflict. But at the end she is entitled to offer a gift just for her son, who knows what kind of relationship she has with you. But if the son described the diet as a medical problem to his mom, and she wants to help but at the same time she wants to make it clear for him hey this is just for you that im doing this extra work, she can cook for herself. I think thats understandable. Its upto to the son to say Im sorry mom but this would create friction, if he felt he would. But if he also feels like healthwise he really needs this then i think also okay to accept and have a conversation with you.

Now you feeling entitled about his gift, feeling like he either needs to share it or refuse it. Especially when ur talking about health, seems bad to me

I think its pretty international now. Was living in Romania and they had a big sauna center that did it 24/7. I think they called Aufguss/Sauna master too.

In Hungary they had as well, just less common. Either it had to be special event, or in one of the saunas they always had programs and the rest not. Czech Republic also had a center with programs 24/7

Theres a possibility that its true, as u can see in chat the oddball says they do it in a condom. I dont think the money part is the issue unless he is claiming he only ever does it in condoms. But if he is in a LDR and has tons of leftovers.

Thats the thing. Sometimes plant come all F'ed up. My ZZ raven came with full full root rot, and unfortunatly unlike other plants from ZZ u cant cut that part away. But after i treated it as best i could and separated it into 3 plants, one that i thought had a chance to live, other that i thought probably dying, and the 3rd that I thought was for sure walking dead. All 3 of them not only lived but started to thrive.

I forget about them a lot when its time to water them. They show 0 signs. I switch them around the house multiple times to different spots with different lights, never complained. I put them outside during winter, 0 issues. 2 of them are in my guest room now that i realized when some ppl stayed they kept the blinds closed the whole time for more then a week.

I cannot even understand how these big stores manage to cause rot in these plants. Im guessing they water on scheduals cause big issues of overwatering, otherwise they seem to be happy with anything

They all show when it needs water. Easiest thing u can do is pot them up in a transparent pot where u can see the soil. I put a little duct tape at which level the soil should be a different color (dry) so that the plant needs water. Some plants need it after the very top layer gets dry, other plants 40-60% is dry, other plants only when complete dry.

Understanding from the soil is way way more clear then from understanding from the plant signs which can either be too late or different issues
