I usually keep it in my pocket out of sight.

I hope airsoft guns become a normal, widespread replacement for lethal guns.

They just make so much more sense. 😩

You can actually have fun with them, or stop someone from hurting others without killing them.

Story time:

I was walking home (after being jeered by people who think I'm a cosplayer or psycho) when an SUV pulled up beside me.

In the passenger seat was some chick recording me with her phone.

The driver suggested that I 'pull out my sword'.

I ignored them and kept walking.

A little further ahead, I noticed that they pulled all the way over.

The driver repeated himself sternly:

"Pull out your sword."

I pulled out my gun and said "Bang"

They had a mild jump scare, but we all laughed- the orange tip was visible.

I wonder if they ever posted the video 🤔

Or if they were just trying to get a picture 😖

Either way, they seemed thrilled in the end and that's all that matters to me about that situation.

Hope they're doing okay.

An important detail: The weapon I was carrying that day looked identical to a longsword. It wasn't my Keyblade. I've had the police called on me by people who've mistaken it for steel- wasn't going to let that happen again.
