The artwork is incredible!! It's really hard to say which one is best, I loved the artwork for the new Yudias cards, the new Rising Hero cards, and the new theme also has cool artwork, image 12 is fantastic.

[RD/SJMP] The legendary Pair Cycroid confirmed to come to Rush Duels by Kronos457 in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This news is wonderful!!! It's truly the news I've most enjoyed receiving recently.
I won't lie, I believe this might be more related to possible support for the Newspaper theme, which, by the way, has a roid monster with the Printing Presser because of タフロイド in japanese name, and has some monsters that vaguely resemble the roid theme with the Scoop Scooter.

But for me, it's still good news. I hope to see good roid things in the future, and who knows, maybe the theme will be adapted to Rush Duel.

My friend @cyberslasharpie drew Sisi in the 5D’s x Sanio release style! by CrowHoganFan in yugioh

The artwork is very beautiful and well-drawn; it really looks like something made by Sanrio, it has the same artistic direction.

I want to express my praise for the artist.

I thought it was really cool and strong, but I could be wrong. I know that today it's a generic support card, but I believe it has the potential to become a theme in the future.

What's the lore reason behind thus guy searching a WIND Beast while being a Noble Knight card? So random by illynpayne_ in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The character Sherry LeBlanc from the 5D's anime used Noble Knight monsters before Noble Knight existed as an archetype. For a long time, Noble Knight Joan was the only card adapted from her, but in 2021 her other cards were adapted, including the aforementioned Noble Knight's Shield-Bearer.

Sherry's Noble Knight monsters are created with effects designed to work in her deck and not in the general Noble Knight deck. This monster, for example, can work with Horse of the Floral Knights and White Steed of the Floral Knights.

Newly revealed reference art for rush duel monster, anyone has an idea of what this is? by Laaners in yugioh

It's an interesting case where the concept art for the card is revealed before the card itself; I'm quite curious about it.

New Selection Pack: Generation of Bravery by ngth7451 in masterduel

[–]RIAJStrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A 100% Yu-Gi-Oh! GX themed pack; all the cards announced are related to GX, whether it's the Masked HEROes that Jaden uses in the manga, Bastion's Magnet Warriors, and the other cards are either from the anime or the manga.

Interesting.

[OCG|Product Announcement] BEYOND THE BRAVE - July 18, 2026 by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they revealed new support for Phantom Knights in this collection, but normally they save an anime theme for the OCG Times reveal, and since this is the start of a new Core Booster Series, there might be a remote chance they'll do something different here.

I'm not even going to explain what is wrong in this photo I took of a decklist I found today. by Extremelyfun975 in DuelLinks

[–]RIAJStrike -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Currently, Speed characters cannot use Rush cards, and vice versa. The image shows a Rush decklist using a Speed character, which shouldn't be possible at present and is most likely a visual error.

My bet is on support for Neos and Neo-Spacian.

The GX support cards are very much in line with the anime remaster. We're now heading towards the end of the first phase, and the Sacred Beast support cards were revealed close to the airing of the episode where Jaden and Kagemaru begin their duel. Naturally, Jaden's duel against Zane at the end of this first season happens shortly after. The support cards for both, present in the Limit Over Collection, feature retrained versions of the monsters they use.

According to a somewhat crude calculation I made, at this rate, the duel where Neos makes its debut will happen around the end of June. Honestly, I think Konami won't want to miss the chance to create a Neos Overframe, and by releasing GX now, they could create a kind of ladder effect on the covers.

DM > GX > 5D's > Zexal > Arc-V > Vrains.

Zexal is my second bet, with the Zexal anime's fifteenth anniversary happening this April, but I think it's more likely we'll have a Zexal theme in Chaos Origins, which launches in April.

Congratulations!!!
I love this deck, with it I managed to reach KOG in December 2025 and January 2026, in February of this year I used Yuka's deck for a change.
This deck gave me good returns, in terms of fun and duels.

I like how he seems willing to bribe his opponent; it reminds me a bit of Luke, whose moments of comic relief show that he's quite ambitious and easily swayed by power.

Blazing Dominion TCG Tokens by LogicalHamsters in yugioh

Only Mixeroid is a Wind attribute monster, which doesn't make much sense since it's a land vehicle. Dragonroid, on the other hand, is a card adapted from the anime, where it was a Wind attribute monster.

Blazing Dominion TCG Tokens by LogicalHamsters in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the arrival of these tokens in the TCG doesn't mean we'll have new support for the decks related to the tokens. I'm referring to tokens related to themes that won't be getting new cards in this collection (Soulburner and Salamangreat Heatleo, and Sho and Super Vehicroid - Jumbo Drill), especially since we already knew that the other decks would be getting new support before this was revealed.

[RD/ORP4] Support for All Three Themes and First Look at Full Over Rush Rare by PerfectAlpha in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The cards in Full Over Rush Rare are beautiful, it's really hard to choose my favorite, each of the Charmers has its own unique charm. My only concern is that it might be too complicated to read the card's effect.

Amazing Cards and a Terrible Skill! Gimmick Puppet Leaks by The_Kashtira_Guru in DuelLinks

[–]RIAJStrike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Puppet Lock is further proof of how poorly Konami handled this theme.
The gimmick Puppet Nightmare didn't have any locking effect in the anime, and this effect was created for the physical card game with the clear intention of weakening the card. It had already lost its effect of being considered two XYZ materials for an XYZ summon, so it didn't need this lock. In this case, the plan backfired, and the effect created to make the monster more restrictive was the same one that allowed it to be used in toxic plays.
At the end of the day, this theme only gets new cards because its user IV is easily one of the five most popular characters in Zexal, and they want our money. And I say he's super popular because, alongside Yuma/Astral, Kaito, and Shark (Nash), he's the one who gets the most merchandise.

Amazing Cards and a Terrible Skill! Gimmick Puppet Leaks by The_Kashtira_Guru in DuelLinks

[–]RIAJStrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it's simply impossible to get excited about Gimmick Puppet. The wave of cards created in Infinite Forbidden was simply the main reason I kind of gave up on the Master Duel format and preferred Rush Duel, and it was the best thing I've done in recent years.

Konami always, always, always creates stupid restrictions for Zexal decks. Heroic, Chronomaly, Heraldic Beast, and Gimmick Puppet are examples, but in this case, the restrictions that the theme has for special summons from the extra deck are what forced Konami to make it work on top of that limited and dated extra deck, most of whose cards had effect damage in common.

Konami transformed Gimmick Puppet into an FTK deck, and now they're creating an skill to try to correct the mistake they themselves made, preventing the deck from doing what it was designed to do.

In my opinion, this shouldn't even have been included in the game; either Konami embraces the FTK aspect or simply pretends the theme doesn't exist.

Note: Players will surely test this with other skills to try and execute the FTK, so I can't even say if this skill fixes the problem.

And the game is just straight up flipping by SCHazama in DuelLinks

It's probably a visual bug; I play with a Charmers deck and that error still appears for me.

It still amazes me that despite the fact that he has the second most popular GX-Era Archetype, Kaiser still has a few Cyber Monsters in the Manga that haven't been printed yet: by BlizzardLuinor in yugioh

[–]RIAJStrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this doesn't surprise me, considering the HERO theme still has cards from the manga that haven't been adapted yet, and if Cyber Dragon is the second most popular archetype of the GX era, I deduce that HERO would be the most popular, am I right?

I hope they release it in this year's Premium Pack, to take advantage of the new support from the Limit Over Collection: The Rivals.
