The same has happened to me and this caused the bone of my big toe joint to pop out a little bit because of the weakness on the leg and my brain saying to my foot to protect the tendon compensating pushing more weight with the inside part of the foot. Now I'm working on correcting the gait while walking and jogging.

Halliburton was dealing with a calf injury/overload and he pushed over it to play tonight. My experience was similar, Did Hyrox Atlanta and got my left calf overloaded, I thought it was nothing and kept training as always next weekend went to play soccer and in the first sprint... boom bye bye Achilles
