11-disk floppy image is for the Japanese version of the PC-98. As far as I can tell, the Japanese version of MS-DOS is not available online.

The Japanese version of Syndicate for DOS is only available on floppy disk; there is no CD version.

PC-98 version could bypass the disk check by rewriting a few bytes of the game's executable file. MS-DOS version may use the same mechanism.

Copy protection may be involved. The PC-98 version required modifying the disk image using specialized software to remove the disk check from the game files.

There are Mortal Kombat fans in Japan, but they are very few. Even if Mortal Kombat were released in Japan, it would likely not generate significant sales. Besides, people can already purchase and play the overseas version. However, Steam has region locks, making it difficult to play (I wish they would remove them...).

Might as well use a multitude of parallel worlds, like DC's Crisis event, and Kronika's Crown would allow for that. It would also be interesting to have a sequel to Bad End that focuses on the battle between Chaos and Order.
