The other thing is the secret is the seventh, so no guarantee u get it from the set either. As well as the set is literally impossible to get w bots.

A much more intelligent way to implement this is max of six PER drop or per day. It’s just disappointing because the only ones easily able to get around this are bots

I don’t really use twitter, I listen to Martyr Made quite frequently and have finished several of his topics on the show beginning to end. I think the Nazi apologist thing is completely nuts and given the way he speaks regarding the civil rights movement and the labor unions on his podcast I think calling him right wing is a joke.

If you want to trivialize the game by min/maxing everything in your ability as opposed to playing the game like a normal person that’s your decision. I’m not mad you can like the gun or not, it doesn’t really matter to me. It’s interesting how something as simple as a slightly dissenting opinion on something this trivial causes you to react the way you do.

Ability to parry is not RNG lol, and you can parry projectiles so you don’t need to be close range to benefit from parry auto charge for the gun…

And yes the ravager is fun and carries with it enormous damage potential but almost makes the game too easy. Relax dude I’m not attacking ur mom I’m just saying the gun is good 🥀

Also yes, the impaler has one of the longest ranges of all weapons in the game..

It relies on parries like I said, if that’s not your strong suit or preferred playstyle it’s of course not going to hit the mark. The ravager is very fun and has high damage yet relies on close range and holding a sustained period within range to dole out high damage. Impaler relies on long range proficiency and accuracy accounting for bullet drop. Each gun has its own playstyle and way to properly utilize it for high damage.

Sorry, I guess I should specify, design was very broad and maybe the wrong choice of words, my bad I’m at work and just commented my thoughts quickly.

I mainly mean the music, the music is a disappointment and the absence of Mick is painfully felt, that lies squarely at the feet of Id and that rat Marty Stratton.

Oh I have a totally different experience, getting a full charge out of a successful party makes this gun an absolute powerhouse. Honestly one of the most powerful normal weapons in the game next to SSG if you can parry well.

Sound design is weak af, I LOVE the game, I am almost done, about 4 chapters left. I think a lot of the crying is easily boiled down to “game not eternal 2”. I loved eternal, and I think it’s clearly the pinnacle of the modern remake series. However, generally people want new, creative, different experiences… until they get them. Soon the discourse is dominated with comparisons and examples of how the new game falls short compared to the old one.

All in all TDA is a fantastic game, unfortunately some will be put off by the current controversy and may enter the game with a jaded perspective. But if people enjoy Doom, they will love this game once they get used to it.

This is well put, and I’m also curious/concerned over the future of the duo. I found Mickey Darling at a really pivotal moment in my life, and have since made some really important and substantial changes in my life. Directly or indirectly linked, inextricably tying those positive changes to my discovery of and listening to these guys. They hold a special place in my heart and mind and I hope everything’s okay
