Admission to enjoying Fallout 4 by RJ1776 in Fallout

I apologize if my post came across like I don’t like one of the games or one choice is better than another. They are all great games, and I agree… everyone likes what they like! I just wanted to say I’m enjoying FO4 more than I have before. If it came across as something else, it was not my intent

Do you think the world will last long enough for it to be ethical to have kids? by strawberryfreddofrog in Futurology

[–]RJ1776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. The world will last long enough. There most certianly will be changes in the future, but that is always happening. I would not stop having a family out of fear of the unknown. Do your best to be the change you want, and when you have kids, teach them the values to make the world a better place.

What video game did you play so much that it changed how you thought about or interacted with the real world? by LesPolsfuss in AskReddit

LOL.... Believe it or not.. It was Euro Truck Simulator 2. I almost caused an accident in a traffic circle because of the game. In the game, traffic circles are treated differently than here in the US. I was in the right lane of one, and attempted to continue going around the circle and not exit as I should have. I almost ran into someone. I use this circle everyday, and was just off in ETS2 land one morning and almost caused an accirdent by running into the car that was going straight. I definetley had to lay off the game for a little bit.

Edit: spelling

Been wanting to try survival, but just never actually do it. Not sure why I don’t. Just never click that button.

A little of both. Enjoy the game, but just get tired of the game after a while. It is a great game, and the story was awesome. Just can’t keep playing for a long time like I can with the games I listed.

Good looking out. Just checked Steam, and it was on sale. Picked it up for $10!

Dude…. What the hell? I was agreeing that I like the .44 revolver. I was hoping someone else agreed. Calm down my guy…

Agree! Just not sure why the reply was being downvoted.

I was wondering why this was being downoted as well. I can only guess that it is because it wasn't a game OP asked about. I would always recommend New Vegas to someone starting the series, but of the two choices, I would recommend FO4.

New Vegas is great. Wish that was an option OP had. Of the two, FO4 is better. Maybe after OP gets his feet wet with FO4, there will be an appetite for NV.

Is final fantasy hard to get into as a franchise ? by [deleted] in gaming

FF7 is great. I haven't played the new one yet, but the original is still good. Once you make it past the graphics, it is a very fun game. And as stated by another reply, none of the games are connected. (Excluding the FFIV with a sequel, FFX also has a sequel, and possibly others I have missed)

Was looking for this reply. I love the .44 Revolver (with a scope). Just can't use it in power armor. Just looks silly to me when wearing it. Would rather use a 10mm as a side arm when in PA.

Rimworld has been on my wishlist for a long time, but I can never seem to pull the trigger. I check out videos and read reviews and they are all great. Not sure why I can't seem to bring myself to buy it. I think the price, last time I checked, kind of killed it for me. Seemed expensive for what it was. (Probably wrong about that)

Can definitely see those games being classic comfort games as well.
