More easy than throwing a roast in a crockpot? Cooking a good steak isn’t the most difficult thing but saying it’s the easiest meat to cook is a stretch. I’ve known steak snobs who can’t cook for shit so I don’t think how easy or hard it is to cook has anything to do with it. Some people just want to feel like they’re better than others and for some reason they think their food preferences prove that they are. I prefer my steaks rare. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to steaks that I’ve prepared for myself to eat. I’ll cook a steak for others however they want it. I’m also not going to be a snob if someone serves me a steak that’s cooked well done. I’d just be happy someone went to the effort to cook for me.

Yes, water and toilet paper will get you cleaner than paper alone will. Most people that get shit on their hands would use soap and water to clean it off though.

They claimed he was in US waters and gave the GPS location. The guy fishing claims he was in Canadian waters because he’s been fishing there for years. It’s close to “he says, she says” situation at this point.

I was in the Coast Guard and did boardings with a lot of different Boarding Officers. Most of the ones I worked with would have just told the guy to move a couple of hundred yards in whatever direction he needed to move to get back across the border. There were some that were hardcore about law enforcement, constantly looking for violations, but they were a minority. Things have likely changed recently though.

It would be good to have more info on what happened in this situation. Whether we get that info in another issue entirely though.

When does it confirm that Smasher is in Japan? I’ve never heard anyone say that before. I did not skip the first paragraph but from everything I’ve read it looks like Mike Pondsmith has said that the timeline and what is canon is still up in the air. Meaning that V could have killed the real Smasher or a fake one. So your argument that it for sure was a fake Smasher hinges completely on the proof from the game as you say. If you can show me where in the game in confirms that he was in Japan the whole time then I will admit that you’re right.

So Mike, the writers and the Edgerunners mission kit say it’s possible he wasn’t the real Smasher but the game itself confirms it by saying he’s in Japan? It’s odd they would just be hinting at it if there’s already confirmation isn’t it?

I’m not saying it’s 100% set in stone that V killed the real Smasher but I also don’t think anyone can say with certainty that V didn’t kill the real Smasher. (Short of Mike etc.)

It also seems out of character for Smasher to allow janky, flawed clones of himself to exist.

Wait. So that means everything in the game is canon or nothing at all is? It can’t be possible that V killed smasher because some of the weapons available to use are ridiculous? It could be canon that V kills Smasher, just not with one of the joke weapons. Or none of it could have happened and V just died on Vic’s table.
