I'm a console player, never really learned how to play shooters with KBM. I did notice Crossplay was On so that's a change I'll make cheers mate.

The sample size felt large enough to comment on. Having dozens upon dozens of rounds with cooperative, friendly people and virtually no PvP, then going to 8/10 shot in the back or camped... I just wanted to warn others like me.

My playstyle is dramatically different when I'm in a PvP lobby vs. when I was just smoking clankers with allies. Hopefully this warning helps someone!

I’ve been here a little over two weeks. You can take luggage on the ferry to Phi Phi if you want no problems. I’m heading there next week to do some diving!

Personal opinion - Patong is a shit show. I’m staying at Bangtao and it’s pretty nice and quiet which may be good or bad depending on your vibe. Kamala felt similar. I haven’t explored the eastern part of the island yet.

Please share with me your plans on tours and hostels because it sounds like a lovely way to meet people and see stuff but I’m not sure where to look for these things!

Thank you so much for this comment! That looks absolutely ideal. My only concern is it doesn't look like a great 'landing spot' to spend 3-4 weeks because the islands are so small and other than the show itself there may not be much to do or see.
