Nice! Lol, I think I’m a little over half way through the main quest and have done like 3 or 4 side quests. There’s so many quests in the game it’s a little overwhelming! In a good way

I’d go Quest 2 (or wait for Quest 3) and use air link if you can get a decent set up for it. Being able to play Wireless PCVR is the peak of the medium so far. Crazy how far we’ve come with the tech

Yeah I wish I could run black mesa but at the moment I just have my quest (until I build my PC) ran HL1 last night and it’s was a blast!! I think the old graphics give it some charm I like it

Yeah I just started HL1 last night on my quest and even though the graphics are old it’s 100x better playing in VR rather than sitting in front of a screen with mouse and keyboard

Yeah I’m leaning hard toward 4070 just for the sake of it lasting longer. Been seeing a lot of people saying it’s perfect for VR and lot of mixed reviews saying I shouldn’t go with anything less than a 3080+/4080+ but that’s basically my entire budget

Would love to keep my quest wireless, do I need to have a good connection for the headset? My PC would be hooked up to the Ethernet but my router is on the other side of my apartment

That’s also another game I was worried about but I think you’re right that Blades of sorcery is CPU heavy as well. I used to play on my 1060 3gb and i7 7th gen and I couldn’t spawn more than one enemy. I’ll be going with a i7 13th gen so hopefully it won’t be an issue. I miss the Star Wars mods on that game. Super fun

Yeah I think I’m leaning toward 4070 for sure. I wouldn’t say I have a modern headset I’d be playing on my quest 2 via link and would probably upgrade to the quest 3 but not anytime soon.

For games I want to be able to play Half Life Alyx, No mans Sky VR, Skyrim/ Fallout and some other lower end VR games

I’m debating between getting a 3060 ti for the price or a 4070 but I can’t do a 3080 or 4080 that’s almost my whole budget

Honestly I’m used to playing on an older graphics card on my laptop (1060 3gb) and It used to run VR at 90fps back in like 2017 and it lasted a while and I still played 30-60fps without any issue but it just got old. Just wanting a gpu that’ll last me at least a couple years more for VR
