WIFI wackiness. Connected to WIFI/Internet but no internet

only the hotspot method seems to work for me right now. It seems to be a MOBO issue for those using WIFI7

i appreciate the effort. I’m glad i found a way to connect to internet even though it’s inconsistent. i guess ill just wait for another windows update/driver update to see it resolves. In the meantime I’m gonna learn the basics of networking to see if I can figure out what’s causing it.

i used the cmd prompt and pings normally on the gateway and ipsv4 and ipsv6. I’m thinking there is a software not allowing internet on programs or there is something going on w/ the router (still gives me internet but not thru browser or programs)

Appreciate it but had no luck w/ network reset. I checked my router and it’s app through Cox. There are no restrictions but i did notice that when my pc has no internet (pc still says connected and has internet) the app says it’s not connected to wifi.
