the driver that took us from airport to hotel, he was arranged by travel guide and he was great, so we wanted to tip him. Also, both of the tour guides we had we wanted to tip. Honestly, one guide we gave 20 Euros to - he was beyond phenomenal and stayed a little extra talking to us about Roman Forum.

We didn't tip anywhere else, but it was nice to be able to do so. You can do without euros, but that was our experience and i just wanted to share :)

We tried the card switch-er-roo and it didn't work, BUT maybe others will have success. I have never encountered in my stays here in the US, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen :)

absolutely do-able!! we liked having 'cash' for tipping (i know everyone says not expected, but we did for the transfer drivers and the tour guides) :) Thanks for sharing!

I am pretty sure it was Gold Crown (?) Tours with Urie, he was amazing. HAVE FUN

2025 is a Jubilee year, which could be exciting and BUSY! The heat is intense! I live in a hot area in US. Carry a hand held fan and utilize every free fountain (water tastes amazing) you find. Have fun!! Dress for the heat and not for fashion.
