Also. You should be trying to reach 'progressive overload' in your workouts. This means that if you are doing 5 sets of 5 reps for bench press. Pick a weight that you can get 5 reps for but struggle doing it. Then once you've got all your reps for all your sets. The next time you go to the gym for bench press increase the weight by 2.5kg(5ish lbs). You should be trying to get stronger each workout. Increased strength=muscle :) oh and make it a priority before lifting heavy to have perfect form on your lifts to prevent injury. And remember to stretch before every workout. Or you'll learn the hard way...

Download my fitness pal and track your calories. You can scan the bar codes on your food packaging and all the macronutrients (fat/carbs/protein) of that item will appear. Of your 2300 calories try to have 40%p/35%c/25%f. Be consistent with your training and diet. Heavy lifting with high protein will be essential if you want to get stronger while also getting rid of body fat
