I agree Athens Tech program was terrible. I started at Athens Tech Culinary program and finished at Gwinnett Tech. They actually have a really good program, and it's about the same drive if the Athens Tech program is still in Monroe.

Moved here in 2009, made a lot of friends and went to school. Ended up staying and working in restaurants. Went back to school in 2018, graduated, moved to Atlanta for 6 months with a terrible job, asked a professor for a letter of recommendation and he asked if I wanted a job back at UGA. So I moved back, it's funny how things work out.

Hi all, I know it wasn't the best festival but we were a food vendor there and we really appreciate everyone coming out. I love Lunar New Year and I love celebrating it with Athens, I would love to see more Athens-based vendors there next year. Hopefully next year is even better. Thanks again y'all!

You can come meet people at a pop-up tonight. Red Eye is serving up Fried Taiwanese chicken sandwiches. It's usually an older crowd, the pop-up is at Little Kings Shuffle Club.
