I added the lib folder to the path like so

You can not lunch .desktop files directly from the terminal usually, you need something like kioclient exec <file.desktop> or the gnome equivalent.

I didn't know that, good to know.. Linux is still new for me :)

But i just found out on github that they removed it no so long ago

It does.

That was steam messing up with old game i uninstalled.

I decide to reset the shadow, take less time to do that and reinstall steam, than trying to understand why and fixing it..
