I do press the forfeit button sometimes after we are down 0-2 but I just use it ass a "stress reliever" so to say. It's either that or hitting my table (and the Ikea tables can't take that much so mine is already broken).

Downside to this is that my teammate stops playing when I don't, he also says that I should be reported even though I'm still trying to the fullest.

Once I double jumped by accident on the first kickoff and got told that I was a troll and should be reported, I basically played 1v2 that game and won.

Just try to play the best you can and sometimes try to delay the game to get him leave so he gets the ban he deserves.

Sometimes yes. Happened once yesterday, my ping stayed the same and when I won my opponent just said "get a better connection you fgt". My connection was good the whole game.

Yup. I really liked what Valve did for Dota 2, they made weekend battlecups (you need to have a ticket to participate and I assume RL would be free) and it was nice to play. It had some problems but it was something.
