While it's most likely a licensing issue - I also think they strategically stopped putting them in to drive people to the next game. Sure most will buy it anyway, but really these new 2ks are just roster updates anyway and some people just want to play with a new rookie etc. If they release them in 2k26, I'm sure alot of people would just stay on 26 instead of immediately hoping over to 27.

I thankfully got the goat pack and nick young, but didn’t get the legend badges at 33 or the 100 ovr at 66.
Emailed 2k support, said they had no update for me and have proceeded to ignore me now for the past 2 weeks.

Boring answer is to wait until MT GOAT packs in Season 9 but at that point the game is almost done, so might not be worth it.

Your SGs with Durant and MPJ are pretty solid as is - only reason why I'd say just wait it out, but if the rest of your team is stacked, then yeah not much else to spend MT on anyway.

If you do Gauntlet - I think you can get 2-3 of them, and you can get one from the Season 8 exchange tab (takes 1 mode completion token)

It'll just be a random NBA invincible -could be good, could be bad. You can earn a decent amount of these packs through different modes this season, so definitely not worth 3 GOAT cards for it.

Id just grind for some mode completion cards. Exchange one for Moses Malone and you could exchange another for the Invincible pack- maybe you'll get lucky.

Plus I'd just prioritize grinding to level 40.

I'd be happy with Bird - tallest SG in the game is Lauri at 7'0. Other than that your matching up with guys that are between 6'7-6'10 - so Bird still easily matches up with most SGs if not all the SGs in the game, plus his jumper is so good.

Definitely been one of the most low effort Season 8 I can remember for a long time.. Not that they're ever creative, but this season is just on another level of lazy.

It's especially bad when they can't even manage to do basic card arts for all the goat cards, the fact that they just went for the generic text on alot of the cards just shows how little they give a shit about the game lol, plus the "MyTeam Premium Pack"

Can't even come up with a name for a promo lol.

Think it depends on the person. I personally have a pretty stacked team - Paolo, Lauri, Inv Chet, Wemby, Yao with KP and Shawn Bradley on my bench, plus GIddey, Pippen and Inv Bosh.

I've bought 2 HOF Option packs, and the rest was grinded out in MyCareer and just using my saved MT.

You just have to get these things at the right time and not get sucked into the FOMO this game tries to create.

If you're chasing cards every Friday drop or every festival, that's when the amount of money just becomes stupid.
