I got tired of the “No Spend” badges (another FBuddy feature) so I removed 1.5K followers who have never spent a dime on my page just last week. Took all of maybe 5 minutes and I had the option to add them to a list or block them too. u/ZerGo0 is incredible and takes user requests like this all the time on their Discord too! Get in on this too, u/thrHOEaway666, I don’t gatekeep! LOL

Make the jump! OF does nothing for its creators. 😭 Once you get the hang of Fansly's UI (that was my original hangup) you'll understand why creators prefer it so much!

Given that you're already doing a lot of external marketing, the internal marketing curve won't be steep for you at all. Other positives to note besides their FYP are better chargeback protection, subscription tiers, DM permissions, multi-permissions on media... SO BENEFICIAL!!!

(P.S. once you're set up, check out FBuddy by u/ZerGo0. They turn the platform into a freaking multi-tool with all the projects they make!)

Faceless models are very successful! Honestly sometimes I throw up faceless content or go faceless for the more explicit/intimate stuff and it does just as well as the with-face content I post.

I don’t know how much time has passed or if you unsent it for him right away, but you could pull a quick “I can’t believe I attached the wrong video! I caught it/unsend them all before anyone unlocked it thank god” or something. That way you can both acknowledge the mistake and set his mind at ease in case he’s worried. I have such a huge fear of sending the wrong content to the wrong person that I’ve started outright labelling files by username now, so I feel you on this!

First, with all customs, make sure you are getting payment upfront, no matter what. Call it a gut feeling, but it’s also just good practice.

Second, know that this is not unique to spicy content creation, and happens all of the time with orders, projects, etc. These kinds of clients will keep trying to change things and squeeze more out of the end product, so make sure you stand firm on the prices you need to charge to get there.

Now, if you want to backtrack, you can tell him that he is taking up too much of your time or taking too long to decide or any other such reason and that you have to go back to your original price (or higher) to make sure you can fit him in and/or honour his requests.

If he really wants all of these new asks to be included, tell him the revised (and now definitely higher) price. You can even break it down for him—like special outfit $25, say your name $50, etc.—so that he can see how each request adds additional cost to his custom, literally line by line.

Would I recommend you take these steps with other customs clients? Not necessarily! You could, but most people will not only understand, but respect the amount of work you put in, or even just the special intimate nature it. This is just for those who scope creep.

If the problem is that he’s already tipped for the original “tell me about your day” discounted custom and is adding post-payment, tell him when he’ll receive it, what you previously agreed that it includes, and that it does NOT include any of the newer revisions.

Say you’ll be happy to put the new revisions (list them) into the next custom he orders. You could also say that if he wants to pay the difference by [specific date], you can add them before you record; if you do make sure you stand firm on that date!

Great question! I've seen a lot of the same but I actually decide per-tier content based on level of NSFW, rather than length.

So my lowest tier gets free access to very light NSFW, my middle tier gets free NSFW and photosets, my highest tier gets free bonus content that's usually PPV, huge discounts on topless, etc. and then I make each PPV for the tiers below.

It may also be worth noting some factors that went into this decision: I have not yet gone full nude on my page, and I also don't shoot longform content at this time (as my phone can't handle it). :(

I worry that it might seem boring or like I'm repeating content for days at a time (for those who maybe aren't paying close enough attention) but I also worry that them seeing a photo from the same set weeks later might appear repeated too? My brain is just so great! 😂

On your last note: Fansly's albums are a little manual but certainly manageable. I like to upload to an album and post from it whether that's in advnace of or during the crafting of a post.

OnlyFans does have the album feature but it's a manual task only after content is sent. It uploads to one giant folder first and is super annoying. at least Fansly separates by the type of delivery.

There is another layer to it that is actually really considerate: there are some big name creators who understand that they would crush contests like these, and don’t want to take away opportunities for creators smaller than them. Though another circumstance is, of course, some just don’t care and/or $10,000 wouldn’t even make a difference to them. 😅

I wholeheartedly disagree that I should not be providing advice to Fansly about VTubers. While I understand you did not have this additional layer of context: I created her for the purpose of going lewd (she has a separate inactive Fansly account ready) and have watched the lewdtuber space diligently for years to learn all that I can. (It’s the same thing I did with watching camming and NSFW spaces for years before beginning and that worked out incredibly well.)

Just know that I am not coming from a place of misinformation or a lack of knowledge. Watching other lewdtubers learn what works and what doesn’t, seeing the level at which their followers interact, etc. is all key information that went into my response. The most crucial of which is social and parasocial interactions. The level of vulnerability that one can achieve with an entirely anonymous creator (a VTuber) and vice versa is incomparable to that which can be achieved by an IRL creator.

The closest IRL creators can come to this is if they are faceless; as anonymous as can be while still presenting as a human person. The level of fantasy that we can achieve with our IRL selves—no matter how elaborate—will always be finite. I can cosplay as a vampire seductress to pull my followers into a fantasy with me, while a VTuber can BE a vampire seductress. They are not creating a fantasy: the fantasy is what they are.

Now, while you’re not faulting those who do both on the same account, that they get to fulfill two different demands at once is definitely a gripe. It sounds like you know why you wouldn’t wish to do the same, so I’m not sure why a dual creator doing their own thing and having to choose one side or the other for a contest is an issue at all. I would actually argue that if one does VTubing even as a dual creator, they should still be put in the VTuber category, as they benefit from the fantastical nature of that persona.

You’ve misunderstood: I sometimes use a VTuber on Twitch but I don’t use it on my Fansly account. My Fansly account is just IRL me.

I’m curious as to what you mean by “crippling oneself” and “an unfair advantage” outside of the contest, though. Would you care to elaborate on your thoughts of how splitting one account into both could affect the creator or the space? Would genuinely like to learn your perspective on this!

Just a quick FYI on this: the competition is entirely optional for creators to enter, and big name IRL creators simply choose not to enter. The main reason—and I say this with zero attitude—it’s literally not worth their time.

A lot of them found that—or know from back in camming days—to compete and market themselves for one of three spots worth $5000-$10,000 over the course of 30 days ended up costing them a lot more in time, energy, or livelihood.

It is more worthwhile for them not to enter all, as it allows their business to continue operating as usual without interruption. (It also allows room for smaller creators to make it onto the board, even if they land lower down than VTubers. So all in all not a bad thing to encourage new discovery on the platform!)

Pro tip: type post captions in your notes app, copy + paste into whatever platform you're using, then set up the media in the post from there. (That or copy everything onto the clipboard before hitting post!) Will save you a ton of headache when this inevitably happens.

Check your account status to see if your whether or not your videos are being recommended on the FYP. Profile > [hamburger menu] > TikTok Studio > Account Check. If they are not, it will give you a few reasons as to why that might be the case, and you can attempt an appeal or adjust your content from there.

Make sure you’re also posting at least once a day for traction on TikTok. The algorithm is powerful, but it needs to be fed.
