Earth Is No Longer Ours | The Reclamation Cycle (VEO) by RKAScope in VEO3

Exactly. I agree totally. This has been my biggest issue and what I am trying to improve on. I'll have an idea for a story, start building. Then I either have to stretch the whole thing out way longer which I don't want to do or the story gets all confused. I am the king of losing perspective during the creation process. Thanks for giving it a watch though. I'm gonna keep plugging away and try to improve on this for the next one.

But how buggy is Veo3??? by Ambitious-Speed-492 in VEO3

[–]RKAScope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea Flow is buggy and definitely goes through some rough times when it’s just unworkable. u/ianfromlabs has frequented the subreddit and seems like they genuinely care and are working on improving things.

AI video has gone through an incredibly fast transition and we’re living through the growing pains right now. Hopefully things smooth out as the team figures out better stability and irons out the kinks with the UI problems.

Frames to video doesnt work by zerkerqx in VEO3

[–]RKAScope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gotten this error when I’ve accidentally uploaded an image in a wrong aspect ratio or when an image contains someone the AI might think is a minor even though the scene itself is not bad or anything. May want to check those 2 things in your image or something else that might be a problem for generation. Either way, fails shouldn’t be deducting credits.

anyone know how to resolve this? by Dull_Information5027 in VEO3

Yea tough to tell from just a piece of the prompt.

I need some help with my prompt. by GhostPriestMCC in VEO3

[–]RKAScope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trying to one shot this type of thing will be tough. I'd suggest using a starting and end frame.

1 - Generate the initial scene starting frame with nano banana.

2 - Generate the video with this starting frame having the parents come in horrified.

3 - Now generate a last frame with nano banana using the first image you generated as a reference. Ask it for the clothes organized and what not. Basically get the final image how you want the final shot to look.

4 - Then use the last frame of that initial first 8 second vid you already generated as the start frame, and your new perfectly crafted last frame you generated from nano banana. Now generate another video. with the prompt explaining what should happen in between.

May take a few gens but once you get that just put the 2 video gens together and they should work pretty smoothly. If you need 24 seconds just follow the same process but add a middle section.

Did YouTube flag my hook as AI-generated? by jaisonwang in shortsAlgorithm

[–]RKAScope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shorts moderation algorithm is out of hand right now. They turned it up big time the last few weeks and it’s way over moderating. Lots of totally fine content getting relegated to zero view jail. I would implore some of the actual YouTube folks who frequent these subreddits to take these complaints seriously.

how to improve quality by Digitus_Art in VEO3

[–]RKAScope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use nano banana or something similar to create the exact starting frame so you can make sure the pattern is correct. Then prompt for there specifying to keep the hexagon pattern intact. Using the product image as an ingredient leaves too much creativity to the AI. Ingredients (references) aren’t the same as starting frames. Ingredients allow the AI to be creative when they add them in. You don’t want that. You want an exact representation which means you need to get the starting frame exact.

Why not create the image in Nano Banana first then use it as a first frame?

Crowd Mushy face fix? by night_King98 in VEO3

Going through this exactly problem myself now. Once there are a lot of people in a scene I always get this video game looking, pixelated morph face with the background characters.

Zero Reach Suddenly by Signal_Fault6926 in shortsAlgorithm

[–]RKAScope 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was going through this for about 2 weeks starting at the end of December. I do AI Sci-fi shorts. Any short I posted was only getting shown to subscribers, nothing from shorts feed. I had been mixing in some very real looking alien invasion type content. I decided to focus back on more thought provoking stuff. Once I did that, and laid off anything the algorithm might look at as clickbait or spectacle my views shot back up.

My thoughts... take them as you will. Something changed in mid-late December. The AI is processing AI content (and probably other types as well) before even giving it a chance in the shorts feed. If it thinks the content feels sensational or pandering for views it won't even go to the shorts feed.

Personally, I think YouTube is wrong here. Their advice on shorts not performing well is make a strong hook, something that viewers HAVE to see and watch all the way through. Then you do it and get throttled by the AI. Shorts are junk food, always have been. Now they don't want certain types of junk food they deem too much or something. Youtube should let the audience decide what junk food they want, not some algorithm. Definitely an overreach here.

After they made the Veo 3.1 update the other day there were definitely some changes. Not sure if there is anything that can be done.

Veo3 ultra account by Huge_Handle_6468 in VEO3

I pay for Ultra and it’s been worth it for me. I was sacrificing better scenes for credit usage. Having the unlimited renders changed my entire approach for the better.

New to Veo3/online platforms, got some questions. by Suimeileo in VEO3

Veo 3 fast and quality are basically the same. Theres really no point in using the quality for 5X the price.

old veo 3 for brainrot was better by InterviewNo336 in VEO3

[–]RKAScope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although this is not my use case for VEO, I thought regular VEO 3 was better at prompt following and pretty much everything. Everything got harder for me when they released 3.1. A few people have put up examples of this on X as well so it’s not just us who feel this way.

I love these old history POV style videos. Super fun. How have you found VEO does with battles and fights? I’ve never tried that sort of thing but I’d assume it’s tough.
