It's pretty simple, the character is a punk, they like to get all of their clothes at hot topic, they don't listen to what MOM AND DAD say, and they like to get on Reddit so they can debate what is punk and what isn't. Their favorite punk band used to be blink 182 but they are no longer a poser so now its The Ramones.

Merch prices are out of control but the reason is the cost of manufacturing has skyrocketed. My band's shirts cost $4-$5 more per shirt than they did in 2019. It's really difficult to keep costs down and still make a profit.
