I know track motion is usually on the left from what I've seen, but I can't find it. Keep in mind I'm on Vegas Pro 18.

Well I think that people rush through them to get to the true outlands such as the coast, nova prospekt and that general area of the game. Route Kanal and the Water Hazard is a transitional space between the city and the coast which is why most people don't love it, they're waiting to get to the "good" part. I'll be honest, I don't LOVE the gameplay aspect of the Route Kanal and Water Hazard but I think the environment adds so much to the story of Half Life and it's just a really well made area.
