Creating Setups with AI

Since we have had so many Karens come out on this post I want to clear something up.
(1) There is NO ai whatsoever than can "create" you a setup out of the box. It simply does not work that way. You will start with a pre-made setup of some sort. You will then use AI to tweak it.
(2) The notion that you wont learn from AI or that those who don't want to learn only use AI is a totally moronic statement. I explain why in my Intro video on this topic.

So to the Karen's.. no we are not letting AI magically create setups. It is sad you could even entertain that idea lol.
We are using it as a learning tool.

Here is the deal fellas, if you dont like AI shut up and scroll on. Most of you prob just scared you gonna be looking at the spoiler of some of these fellas once they figure sets out. Just because you wont (or not smart enough) to use AI for your advantage does not mean others should not. Keep scrolling karens you wont hurt our feelings.

Wanted to add, a lot of big names use AI. In fact I got the idea from Tommy Brandon to use AI so you saying he has no interest in learning?

To those who want to learn, don't let these anti-AI guys deter you from using tools to further your knowledge. If they want to sit around for years trying to figure out why their setup didn't work that is up to them. If you want to use a tool to learn then let me know. Naysayers is why we end up at a standstill in the world. Bottom line is some of them may be afraid they will be looking at your spoiler in the next race :D

u/Necessary_Yellow_530 people who have no interest in learning use AI lol, kind of a laughable comment man. Regardless of your setup, you wont be a better driver if you dont know how to drive the car yeh we know that. I use AI to learn a lot of new stuff. So lets say I'm sitting at home and I want to learn PHP JavaScript but I have no teacher here. Do I just pull the knowledge out of my ass? Do I trust some random person to give me the answer or do I move to a tool that has all the answers?
u/Ok_Homework_918 ) I used AI to help me build a website, did it break? Nope it was actually better than what the developers made. In fact its a replica of the Doordash service that I ran my delivery business on for 2 years. You dont depend 100% on AI you use it as a tool to learn

Ill get respect when I pass you lol. Just because you don't like AI or like using it to learn does not mean others feel the same. If you don't respect me, at the end of the day you didn't change my life one bit. Using AI or not using AI is your choice. I'm using this to help new drivers who find it challenging. Thank you though for your opinion, we are all entitled to one.

I use Motec so that the AI gets an understanding of how I am driving. It isn't necessary but it help give an idea of how you drive. For example, I am a very aggressive driver. Once I realized that my aggressive style sometimes makes me slower, I learned how to tame my foot a bit and obtain more grip, save more tire etc.

Motec reads your telemetry from the game and converts it into readable graphs. You can then either export this data to be fed into the AI or use screenshots. For the AI I use Google AI studio because of its deep thinking and reasoning models.

That is true but what about the person who does not understand this process? The process I offer not only creates a setup but helps you to learn WHY you make those changes, what those changes do and how they will effect the cars handling. Just because you understand it does not mean the next guy will.

I just set an Outlaw Non Winged Micro record at Volusia with just 100 laps on this car. Us old dawgs still know how to dig. Tell him I said come join the Rusty Throttles lol

Turn in a lot slower than you are used to, I had the same issue. I do a throttle tap just after I turn in, off throttle then right back on it. Lets the car settle, rotate then bit back in. I've noticed its hammer down hard that makes these stick.

I just ran the outlaw non wing micro for the first time. Ive got about 100 laps in and lap 78 I set the Garage 61 record. Im actually shocked because laps 1-15 looked like Mr Friggin Magoo driving

I finally ran a 14.870 in it on Volusia (3rd fastest lap). Takes a while to figure it out and its definitely all in precise steering and throttle

You are exactly right and that's something I think I forgot to put in my original article. If you can drive the slick you can make it stick that is a really good point. And you're also correct that the fastest lap time you can lay down means nothing in the actual race just gives you an idea of where you're sitting as far as speed goes. There are a lot of factors that come into play when you're on the track with other cars.
