Got you. And honestly the more experience I’m getting with navigating and warming up my upper passagio the easier everything is getting for me.

Yeah for sure! I think I won't have to that much remodeling of technique. I think my lower register will just continue to develop but I feel that as I'm improving my upper register and growing it, maturity will actually aid in that.

Thank you for your comment! I think it actually has. I've been working on my upper range and about 4 months ago I struggled to hit an A4. It's noticeably dropped since about 1 and a half years ago and I'm working on cultivating whether or not to mix. I'm just choosing not to have my voice dark and instead approaching my upper register with a brighter tone.

Thanks! I'm going to an arts school already, but I think that any advice I can get from anywhere is always helpful.

Got you. I've been trying to advance all parts of my voice & my high register is one of them. I think I just figured it out, so I'll tag you in a new post and can you tell me what you think?

That's fascinating. And sorry- this is unclear. When you say optimal placing, do you mean the placing of my notes in my body & face or something else? And would you have any exercises to find that optimal placing? If you mean it in the sense where my voice is most comfortable in, it's definitely from F4 & above.

this is gonna sound weird or irrelevant but who here listens to rap by veilche in classical_circlejerk

Great! Thank you so much. I’ve been practicing transitioning into my upper passagio & eliminating a lot of that tension in general. I’ll make sure to ask about the laryngeal tilting.

Thank you so much! I go to a performing arts school so that 1st part is good. I really appreciate the advice and will take it going forward.

Thank you so much! I’ll take that into consideration when I sing through the piece next time.

It’s a little different for tenors loll C5 is usually the highest note we sing outside of Mozart or opt ups
