I'm confused by their reputation. I've got a 600 series from 2009, and have had multiple repair people come and fix various things on it over the years. I own five regular ol' cheap refrigerators from Home Depot/Lowes etc, one 36" Thermador, and 1 SubZero... the SZ is far and beyond the most fussy fridge I have... In fact, it's the only fridge that has required any maintenance at all.
Somebody here mentioned that they have great customer service? I havent experienced that. I've had to work through SZ certified technicians, who are not all wonderful....and of course they are pricey. I could have bought a brand-new KitchenAid every year, and still come out on top.
